    When installing Windows 10, enter your Windows 7 key.
     
    You can't do the "free upgrade", but you can do a clean install of Windows 10 and use your Win 7 key. That's how I did it and that worked.
     
    EDIT :  @Rex_G BTW, not sure how it works with OEM and "grey market" keys, the ones I did it with were all retail

    If you're building this mid-2019, then ask again about 2-3 weeks before. A LOT can change in six months.

    I'm planning to build this around mid 2019. Ryzen 3 will be announced at CES 2019, but i dont know when it's going to be released.
