  1. Only game on PC sorry and have had no reported issues with the mic so far Yeah I did not need wireless so was not an issue and went with the head tracking model as well.. but I am not sure if that was really worth the extra.. its nice but I kind of stopped noticing it was there after a bit.
  2. Also don't let all this discourage you to much I mean if you have a good idea with what you want to do then sure go ahead and start really looking into it but as long as your eyes are open to the issues that will confront you that is the main thing.
  3. I dont really know what the fuss is about myself.. I watch the videos LTT puts out because they are entertaining and also provide some good info about products and so on at the same time.. hell I even watched the Mac stuff even tho I hate mac products haha.. but yeah I don't care if they have silly thumbnails or the titles don't describe exactly what is in the video 100%.. it really does not bother me and I am kind of surprised that people actually think its an issue. ah well.
  4. I did a similar thing about 10 years back now its very very hard to compete on prices with the big companies.. .well in the UK anyway. Basically all retailers buy from one of the big suppliers like IngramMicro, but the main issue is if you buy in bulk from then you get the stuff cheaper.. So say they sell a laptop or whatever for £600 each.. now if you buy in bulk say 500 the price drops per item by like £25 and so on the more you buy.. so big companies like Amazon can buy 1000s and getting them at a super cheap price.. leaving the small guy that does not have the funds trying to compete.. in the end you make so little cash from actually selling something then its just not worth bothering with haha. Now maybe if you live in an area full of old people that dont know what the internet is then you could still make a profit hehe
  5. Yeah basically all junk I guess.. I used to end up with boxes and boxes of cables as I was always thinking "one day you never know I might need one" that day never came hahaha
  6. Also if you cant be bothered to press f5 hehe there are chrome plugins that will auto refresh the page for you like https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/auto-refresh/ifooldnmmcmlbdennkpdnlnbgbmfalko?hl=en
  7. If you are doing graphic design and video editing you probably want something with really good color accuracy.. I know that LG tv says thats what it has but yeah i would really do some research into it.
  8. I am not an audiophile or anything myself and never really invested in expensive headsets until recently. Anyway I was using a Steelseries Artic 7 from gaming and i thought the audio was really good.. but recently picked up the Hyprer x Cloud orbit.. did not really need the wireless side of things.. but anyway I guess as you would expect the audio quality is night and day especially in High Def mode when listening to flac files, but even for gaming you can tell the difference. I play Escape from Tarkov and being able to tell the location of someone is important and again the Cloud Obit in surround mode are a lot better than the Artic 7... But other than that I cant really help haha but ill prob never go back to cheaper headsets..
  9. Steelseries Arctis 7 is a great wireless set.. basically you cant really go wrong with it.
  10. Btw I would stick with 2 sticks of ram, have seen issues running 4 sticks with XMB enabled on the AMD stuff..
  11. What are the PC system requirements for Fortnite? Recommended System Requirements Nvidia GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 equivalent DX11 GPU 2 GByte VRAM Core i5-7300U 3.5 GHz 8 GByte RAM Windows 7/8/10 64-bit + Mac OSX Sierra (10.14.6+) Minimum System Requirements Intel HD 4000 on PC or Intel Iris Pro 5200 on Mac Core i3-3225 3.3 GHz 4 GByte RAM Windows 7/8/10 64-bit + Mac OSX Sierra (10.14.6+) Mac computers must support Metal API. Check if your Mac supports Metal here. So you should be good with that I guess.. btw dont mis-match ram so go for the 2x4gb or 2x8gb if you can.
  12. Windows 10 in HDR mode is pretty terrible.. not sure ow they could get it so right on the xbox and then mess it up on Windows 10. maybe we will see an update to HDR support at some point but at the moment its pretty clunky..
  13. Ok a good system at least but even a 2080ti will have trouble running some games maxed out at 4k.. best point for gaming at the moment is 144p.. or even one of the Ultrawide options like the Acer predator x34p or something along those lines that has a decent refresh rate as I see your current monitor is stuck at 60Hz This article has a good overview of the available 4k gaming monitors out there if you are set on a 4k monitor. https://www.ign.com/articles/the-best-4k-gaming-monitors
  14. what do you consider a good budget ? Also what are you planning to use it for ? If its gaming what are your system specs ?
  15. Yeah only thing i can suggest is just read up on as many reviews as you can for the TVs that you can afford from that site, but you might need to spend a bit more to get good quality HDR..
  16. Yeah ram is not helping for sure but what resolution are you running at ? remember its only a mid range card and probably aimed at 1080p gaming.. have had a quick loo kat some reviews and anything higher then 1080p does seem to have some frame rate drops running games maxed out. Still its prob worth picking up some new ram really..
  17. As far as I know it should work fine.. but is SLI even worth it ? I dont think many games work with it very well..
  18. Was in a similar situation back a few years ago so picked up a Denon AVR-x2400H receiver and a new Sub, I then used the Logitech speakers for a bit until a picked up a full atmos setup a few months later. The Denon can do 4k @60htz and basically runs my second monitor but this lets the sound go out from the PC to the receiver just fine and my main monitor i use fir gaming is just directly plugged into the graphics card. But as above most of streaming services dont support surround sound in anyway via a web browser.. The Netflix app for Windows 10 does but I think that is about it. Still games that actually have a decent surround sound set up sound amazing and then I use an Xbox One S as a media system for everything else. Tell you the truth I dont think I would ever go back to a standard PC surround system.. its expensive to get into for sure but once you have a decent setup it can be used for many things not just the PC
  19. Its ok I work in IT now haha
  20. When I had my first PC back around 1994ish I wanted to fit a nice graphics card into it so saved all my pocket money for one.. Had no idea how to do anything with computers at the time but thought how hard could it be. Anyway I took the gigantic old thing out and then tried to fit the new one in and it would not align up with the back of the case.. so took a hack saw to the case to get it to fit only to realise that it actually went into the PCI slot and not the old ISA thing lol
  21. Yeah go B-die if you are planning to OC at all... I think people get the best results with that.. not saying the other stuff wont OC but everyone seems to rave about the B-die stuff and its what I went for in the end as well. Not that I have had much luck with overclocking at the moment but not really spent to much time on it.
  22. If your usage is that high then yeah prob worth picking up but I would grab two sticks of 16gb instead of the 4 x 8gb. At least that way then you know you can just turn on XMB and it will work without any issues.
  23. https://www.pccomponentes.com/samsung-ue55ru7172-55-led-ultrahd-4k Is good for gaming, the input lag is decent enough.. but sucky HDR..
  24. Are you running out of ram during your daily use ? 32gb is nice of course but have seen some issues with x570 motherboards not wanting to run 4 sticks ram with XMB turned on.. HAd that issue with my old corsair ram when I first got my x570 TUF motherboard.. so I upgraded to 2 x 16gb sticks of Tridentz 3200 CAS 14 but find it hard to get any decent overclock out of them..
  25. Yeah the that model you have is not really designed for gaming sadly so I guess the cooling solution in the laptop is just not up to the task.
