@CPotter I know a similair question has been asked, bur I bought 2 tickets, 1 byoc and one not. The tickets are for me and my mother but the names are mixed up, (her name is on the byoc and mine is on the normal one) Will that matter at the door? Do we have to switch the names somehow?

did everyone need a dreamhack account to buy tickets? i dont remember making one and when i sign in with googlez it says i have 0 tickets

let me help you folks out here.. If you want to just pay once for a card, go to CHATR. They will give you a sim card, a month of unlimited calling to all of canada (think you can pay a bit extra to include the US) and unlimited international text all for less than 50 canadian dollars. Either that, or 7-11s have burner phone plans you can get.

Yea if you havent been to the lower mainland before, and are NOT having access to a car and are not the most bus savvy people should probly find somewhere kind of close to the event. All hotels close by will be expensive, there aren't many houses near the event so air bnbs will be a bit of distance And like someone else said, all the drug addicts are within like a 2-3 block radius so dont go near main and hastings unless you are looking for the CHEAPEST hotel rooms. In that case, there are a few that honestly aren't horrible and are cheap and some hostels if you dont mind that. And honestly even if you do walk through the garbage dump of vancouver (main and hastings) you will usually make it out with all your belongings

First, let me say that yes, I have read the READ ME topic on this section and have done everything except update the bios because i can't access the bios and don't know if windows is 100% stable to do it through there. SPECS: CPU: i5-8500 PSU: EVGA 650 watt Gold+ Motherboard: ASUS TUF B360m (not the plus model) RAM: 2x8GB corsair vengeance 2333 GPU: MSI AERO 1070 Storage: Kingston 128gb sata ssd as boot drive, a 500gb WD sata m.2 ssd, and a 1tb seagate hdd note: all this hardware is less than a year old at this point and i have a cooler master rgb bar running off the rgb header, an evga aio cooler, and i built the rig myself With that out of the way, here is my problem: 1. I shut down pc through windows and went to sleep to find that the fans and led's were still on in the case but not on keyboard/mouse. 2. couldn't switch from speakers to headphones in windows (the options weren't there) 3. windows booted and was working fine (even playing a csgo to test) once i hard shutdown with the power button and flicked the PSU switch on and off 4. Tried to get into bios and PC froze with black screen as soon as i started pressing delete to get into UEFI/BOS, requiring another power button turn off. 5. if i don't touch anything, PC boots to windows with NO asus splash screen, and windows seems stable, it plays steam games normally and dolphin emulator. 6. I also did notice that file explorer was freezing when i had an external usb3 hdd plugged in and tried to access it. ( the external drive is an old laptop drive i bought from freegeek that i have in a case that converts the sata to usb that i keep ROMS on.) it worked fine after i shutdown and unpolugged the drive though. IN SHORT WINDOWS WORKS FINE BUT AS SOON AS I TRY TO ACCESS BIOS/UEFI IT FREEZES AND BLACK SCREENS one other thing i did last night was uninstall the drivers for this usb bluetooth dongle i have always plugged in and let windows install the generic bluetooth radio drivers So yea i don't know what to do, there was no minidump. i have it enabled and there was none. Tried to make this as short and to the point as possible, any help would be appreciated, im just really glad i can still use the PC (for now)

Hey everybody, I was just wondering if there was anyone going to the LTX BYOC alone or with friends that would wanna sit together and maybe play on the same CS/DOTA/whatevergame team. I can even send you pics to prove im not super greasy or anything haha, I live pretty close to where the event is hosted and just don't have any friends going to the BYOC part and don't want to play alone.

For july tshirts SHOULD be just fine, usually gets around 25+ Celcius in the heat of summer

If you guys get random drug tested, then that sucks majorly. I live 20 mins drive from LTX and would totally be down to hangout with someone at LTX and smoke some pot before the BYOC if anyone is bringing their PC lol.

I kmow this post is old but I JUST found out the problem. I was using EVGA flow control for the EVGA AIO cooler i have and the 'NUMPAD-5' was bound to take a screenshot on EVGA Flow Control but it worked even with EVGA FC running in the background. So everytime i pressed numpad 5 it just took a screenshot instead.... I would have never figured it out if i wasn't messing with the settings in EVGA Flow Control, as i think it was set to that by default. Anyways thankyou for trying to help.

and yea i use it and i map the keys when i play games and stuff
