That would depend on what's going on. Could be a longer piece of solder sticking out from the m/b that's making contact with the motherboard tray. Could be missing a standoff inbetween the m/b and tray. Could be a piece of the I/O shield sticking inside one of the ports (that's happened to me once or twice). We'll just have to experiment and see.

So update! I bought a mirco ATX motherboard, sold the GTX 970, put the stock cooler back on my 1070 and build my own case(well have to assemble it but i have all the parts for it)
Case is a 12x12x9 (i think thats about 21.5 liters?) it houses 6 fans supports 2 240mm radiators if i wanna upgrade my cpu cooling or maybe go back to liquid cooling on the gpu, it fits a full PSU, and has white board on the outside so i can draw on it lol

MSI GTX 1080 Ti DUKE 11GB OC is better, but you might wanna buy a RTX card, i think the 2080 is about as fast as the 1080ti

you were right my friend! But a bit late to catch the worm. Turns out the thermal paste i had on there didnt cover the chip all the way, so it was at 75c and now that its applied properly its down to 60c... Oops... (btw stock fan curve and its under volted rn by 55mhz but that shall change soon )
