  1. This is going to be standard issue military wear in 10 years i bet. Sony is going to make a killing off this, if it actually works.
  2. You are confusing revenue for profit. They do not make profit, they do earn revenue. What little they get, they get from ad deals for views, and subs, and creators drive those views and subscription payments.
  3. If you believe your work is going to spy on you using the e-mail client on your phone, maybe just go find another job. I have my works G-Mail on my phone, and I am not afraid, because I know who I work for. Good people.
  4. When was the last time YouTube promoted a creator who had a day job outside YouTube?
  5. I am growing more sympathetic to their arguments every week. People start making videos on YouTube, they have a contract with YouTube, Terms of Service, they abide by it, they grow their channel, they invest in it, they make money off it, it becomes their career, it makes YouTube a ton of money as well. Then one day some bluecheckmark on Twitter whines and suddenly their channel which provided their income, which put a roof over their head and food in their child's mouth, which took years to build is stripped away, without warning, with no recourse, no way to gain it back, no alternative in the marketplace due to YouTube's monopoly. YouTube sets itself up as being a place where you invest time and follow the rules you can have it be your career. They advertise it as such. The courts needs to provide a solution to dealing with YouTube as a creator who invested their time into YouTube only to be destroyed by YouTube with no recourse. YouTube is providing people full time employment, they advertise the platform as a way to make money, they are the ones selling that ad space and paying the creators, they should be held accountable.
  6. Would have been much better than the Mary Jane sections they shoe horned into Spider-Man to have a female playable character. Though I still find it odd they didn't utilize Black Cat for that. Someone at least with powers!
  7. Yeah I find this kind of silly. The whole point of the Ring is to improve your security, which having the police able to access recordings would improve. I think you have given up the privacy argument when you buy one in the first place. And since these are on doorbells and point out at what is most likely the street, I think most of what people would see is in public view anyway.
  8. But now as an adult you should understand that as a child all those negatives you now have you did not have to have before because of someone else handling them for you, and understand what a burden that was to place on another person. I do want to go back to being a burden now that I can lift myself up. Though this is getting off topic. So getting back to the topic, I play male, and am male, because ultimately I want to be able to put myself into the game I play. This matters less and less as the characters become defined, having unique abilities, or are the only option, like Spider-Man or Tomb Raider or Overwatch.
  9. Google has a monopoly in search, in advertising, and uses those anti-competitively to boost other products to near monopolies, as it has done with YouTube, which they then used to cement their Browser monopoly by creating a subpar experience in YouTube for non Google browsers. Google is nothing but anti-competitive practices. I hope it is broken up. -Typed on Edge Preview built on Chromium so Microsoft can have a browser Google cannot sabotage.
  10. AdoredTV will no longer put* analysis videos on ad supported video hosting sites, and instead will put them behind a pay wall. He was not putting those videos up for free, he was getting paid by ads.
  11. How do you think they estimate it, if not by using the publicly announced pricing?
  12. Its a publicly traded company, they don't talk to them in private. That would actually be insider trading and is illegal.
  13. When they publicly announced prices they never intended to sell the product at.
  14. So AMD intentionally lied to investors about pricing... that is the argument they want to make. "Hello, SEC, I have a case of fraud to report."
  15. Turns out it was Figured it out by installing the chipset drivers directly from AMD, even though the ROG application claimed to have installed the latest drivers. Teaches me for trusting a driver installer app.
  16. Anyone by chance know what this is? I got the ROG Armoury Crate application and it installed all my AMD drivers for my new 3900x build, yet I got this one unidentified device in the device manager and Googling it hasn't been of much help. Was wondering if any of you other Ryzen 3000 people have seen this/know what it is?
  17. Having spent the $500 for a Ryzen 3900X, and already having a beast Noctua cooler, I am sitting here with this perfectly good Wraith cooler that I have no use for, and had no option to not buy. So I am curious what other people did with theirs. It feels like a real shame to just throw it away, but what else is to be done with it? If I buy another AM4 chip, it will have one too, and I would want to put a Noctua on it as well. My Noctua is not going to just fail on me (even if it did it could only be the fan, a $20 fix), so I don't need a back up. Do I actually just throw away a perfectly good CPU cooler? I hate being this wasteful but I see no other option. It has been my biggest frustration with my PC upgrade this year and AMD. Last go around with Intel I got the CPU, and it came by itself, no waste. I do not understand why they are wasting energy and generating needless trash by putting a cooler in every box. Sell the cooler separately, bundle it for free with the CPU, let users select if they want one or not.
  18. I always use Top and Back as exhaust, front as intake. Are you worried the radiator will limit front airflow?
  19. Grubhub once sent me an extra 16oz Cookies and Cream Ice Cream. If I didnt have so much testosterone I would have wept with joy. ?
  20. From that build I think you want the cheapest you can get. Whatever X470 with SLI that is the cheapest on NewEgg is my guess. Also I dont think this is the correct forum section.
  21. Having just bought into Ryzen 3 this leak doesn't do much to make feel bad about it. Sure the 10 core at $500 would likely be slightly faster in games than the 3900x I got coming, but on the other hand 2 less cores for multi-threaded workloads and no pcie4 in that leak, so no 5 gb/s SSD like I have coming alongside that 3900x. If that leak is true I think Intel will be competitive and a good option, but not a better option. Like AMD and Nvidia at the upper mid range right now.
  22. If it is the chiplet architecture, why is Ryzen 3000 able to pull so far ahead of Ryzen 2000, which is also chiplet, but 12nm not 7nm. Do you really think they could have put out a 16 core Ryzen at 12nm?
  23. People counting Intel out are being silly. AMD's biggest advantage right now is the 7nm process. A process Intel could use if they wanted to swallow their pride. Intel can give up on their 10nm and pay Samsung or TSMC for 7nm and start pumping out chips. They have the engineers, money and market power to do it. Just think where Intel would be today if 2 years ago they gave up on 10nm and got onboard TSMC's 7nm customer list. How well would Ryzen 3000 stack up to a 7nm instead of 14nm+++ Intel chip?
  24. Hahahha wow. Im so glad I checked this morning.
  25. AMAZON HAS 3900X STOCK!!!!!!!!!!!! Only took 4 days from launch, but I finally got the order in. ?
