  1. So I found a old Dell Monitor, it uses VGA and I decided to try to get it running again, it powers on (sleep mode), but it doesn't connect to anything, and since my GPU (RX580) doesn't have a VGA port, I had to plug it in to the motherboard (iGPU), my main monitor, which uses HDMI to connect to my dedicated graphics card, works, but the one connected to the iGPU doesn't work, is there any way to get both of them working? (notes: dedicated gpu: rx580, iGPU: intel integrated gpu, main monitor: AOC 27B1H (HDMI), monitor im trying to connect: Dell Ultrasharp U2711 (VGA))
  2. Actually all of that happened before the pin broke off, I also noticed that another pin was bent, but I straightened it out, also I don't really have anything important, I just want to get it up and running so I can use it as a personal laptop
  3. I was straightening out the pins on my HDD when this happened, will this HDD still work or should I just get a new one?

  8. i'm just wondering, is there going to be a ltt forum app anytime soon? or is there an idea to make one??
  9. 7-10 years is a long estimate in my opinion, i mean come on, how can we ignore the fact that scientists and engineers are searching for ways to make dna-based hard drives
  10. i don't know anything about disease researching at home, but i'll tell you this, reinstall it
  11. i wouldn't go that far saying "never", we went from kilobytes to gigabytes in a short amount of time, who knows what scientists and engineers could do?, but at the same time, i thought this true, and i assume a solid 15-25 years more before we see a terabyte be the modern standard
  12. you don't need to worry about drivers, downloading things like the RGB software, fan controller, benchmarks, gpu software and msi afterburner are what you CAN worry about
  13. judging from how fast technology is evolving, and we already have a petabyte accessible to us, i'd estimate 4-12 years
  14. i'd recommend buying something like cheap/used a dell poweredge and then upgrading it to your needs
  15. they are useful, and they do have a purpose, but people don't really utilize them much, since you can do anything else with a few keyboard button presses and a few mouse clicks, so yeah, if its something like amazon alexa, google home mini, yeah, i can understand the use of that, i rarely use cortana but they're still useful for mobile units (like laptops),
  16. it is possible, and yes, i've also used a ikea desk, they are REALLY small...
  17. upgrade your bluetooth drivers, reboot PC, and then check for errors
  18. that also happens to me, do this, put your youtube audio as low as you can, but you can audibly hear it at the same time, or just turn off youtube/discord when watching/talking with people your other option is to get a external microphone, which you can clamp onto your desk, but that is an extreme way of solving the issue
  19. your setup is good, just make sure that you take the correct precautions, and you have the right equipment. also, make sure your cable management is good good cable management = better airflow and overall cleaner aesthetics
