The C.I.A was the one to sell the government of the Apartheid the location of Mandela, before he got in prison for 27 years. So what the f**k was he doing even there.
A) Steam is one of the biggest game shops/platforms for PC. If they move to Unix (Debian in this case), they probably want the developers to do so as well. They want an Open Source environment for their own platform, and with Unix it's more secure than any other one (Windows), and it's not elitist (Mac OS). B ) Wait at least for the final release if you dont know how to play with Linux. It's hard to understand at first, and right now the beta build needs a little bit of knowledge in commands and so on. Plus, it doesn't support AMD or Intel GPUs.
So... what about you use Windows just for gaming? I mean, dual booting is useful when you want the best of both worlds. I use Windows for games ,and Ubuntu for the rest.
PD: To whoever says any UNIX distro is hard to use, is because a) you are 80 years old, or b ) Never tried it-
I used to be a Firefox fan, but after a few weeks of using, it got slow really quickly. I now use Chrome, and it works well with flash, HTML 5, Java and so on. But, I like to keep it open source on my ubuntu notebook, so I still use it there.
I made a P4 cable extension with well... another P4 cable from a dead PSU. Matched the colors and put all together with duck tape. It has been working for 5 months already and cant find out why it did work.
I never thought of comparing the PC with consoles over price. Of course, you wont be able to build a "PS4-performance-like" PC at the same price. Both are different things. It's like trying to compare a car with a boat. You can travel with both, but clearly they are not the same
