  1. so!!! ive been wanting to get a new gaming PC for years now, and whilst i dont have the money yet, i am saving up pretty quickly. and in the meantime i went to make my first proper setup. im curious to know though if its actually any good PS: not sure about the amount of the LL120 MM fans, might need to change them to 140MM or a few less fans so ignore that at the moment :') EDIT: just noticed the PSU isnt good enough illl go ahead and change that real quick PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU Intel Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor $389.99 @ B&H CPU Cooler Corsair H110i 113 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler Motherboard Asus ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $289.97 @ Walmart Memory G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory $98.99 @ Newegg Storage Samsung 970 Evo 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive $168.99 @ Amazon Storage Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $44.50 @ Amazon Storage Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $44.50 @ Amazon Video Card Asus GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB STRIX GAMING OC Video Card $639.99 @ Amazon Case Deepcool MATREXX 70 ADD-RGB 3F ATX Mid Tower Case $91.99 @ Amazon Power Supply Corsair RMx (2018) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply $109.99 @ Amazon Case Fan Corsair LL120 RGB LED 43.25 CFM 120 mm Fan $39.99 @ Amazon Case Fan Corsair LL120 RGB LED 43.25 CFM 120 mm Fan $39.99 @ Amazon Case Fan Corsair LL120RGB LED (Three Fans With Lighting Node PRO) 43.25 CFM 120 mm Fans $106.99 @ Newegg Monitor MSI Optix MAG241C 23.6" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor $184.99 @ Amazon Keyboard Corsair K55 RGB Wired Gaming Keyboard $49.88 @ Amazon Mouse Corsair Sabre RGB Wired Optical Mouse $49.99 @ Walmart Custom Internal USB Hub $17.00 Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $2367.74 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-01-27 09:13 EST-0500
  2. Ah ok, 200MHz and 2GB total just sounda a bit too low imo lmaooo Ill see if i can get some
  3. Ive got an HP XW9300 Workstation that id like to put Windows 10 on, but every tine i try to do that i get error ExpressChange128 is missing or something. A friend of mine looked it up and according to him it either could be a CPU or a RAM error. The CPU's (2x AMD Opteron 285) could be too old even though we checked in HWinfo on Windows 7 (because yes that does still run on it and i know its now dead and im still sad about it ) and according to it it should be able to run it. Ive tried booting from a bootable Windows 10 ISO with Rufus, which only gave a windows logo, ive tried doing it whilst in windows 7 but only via that i get that ExpressChange128 error. As i said its got 2 AMD Opteron 285's, per cpu its got 2 sticks of 200MHz 512MB DDR2 ECC memory from Kingston i believe, some random WD Blue 160GB hard drives, ATI Radeon HD4300/4500 Series GPU and its 750Watt power supply. Very much thinkingnits the ram but i hope its not the CPU's :')
  4. well i can go into the speaker settings (every time i plug any headphone in i get a menu asking what type of audio device i plugged in, like headphones, headphones with microphone etc.) but nothing changes really
  5. recently got a new/refurbished laptop from my dad, its a Dell Latitude E5540 and i was and still am very happy wiht it, especially when you compare it to a 8 year old Dell Precision M4600. but for some reason i can't get the audio to work properly. the speakers work fine but the earphone connnection works only like half, when i play music there is no bass at all and when i watch a regular video there also isnt any bass and all the other audio is a bit bugged. i went to the official dell website, typed in my service tag and downloaded the correct audio driver (Realtek High-Definition Audio Driver, released 22nd of July 2015 https://www.dell.com/support/home/nl/nl/nlbsdt1/product-support/servicetag/0-MGVCbUtVbTVWRlZjOVVuWTUrYW5Jdz090/drivers ) but it still gives the same problems. im not sure if theres a problem with the port though, because we had a usb to 3.5mm adapter, which we tried, and hey i got my bass back and it seems to work fine. but when i plug it into the 3.5mm of the laptop its broken again. is there anything else i could do at this point?
  6. well ive tried it mupltie times and it doesnt work so i guess im a little fucked anyway lmaooo, ill try to wait until the battery died and plug it back in and turn it on, this is gonna take hOurs though because i had plenty of battery life left so oof :')
  7. but the problem is, that NONE of the buttons do anything. its literally stuck
  8. so i was trying to wipe the cache in the Android Recovery menu by powering off my A70, holding the power and volume up button for a bit, slect wipe cache, let it do its thing and when i had the option to reboot the device, i cannot do anything. buttons not doing anything at all. help is it best for me to let it run out of power and then see what i can do or is there anyhting i can do without needing to wait multiple hours becuase of its big battery???
  9. so my dad is upgrading from his Samsung Galaxy S5 to a Samsung Galaxy A50. hooray, but when we put in his old SD card it gave an error, and it says we need to format the SD card. but, how can i back up the data from that SD card so that it can work with the A50? should i only copy the files with all the images and music etc. or should i copy everything (including Andriod, LOST.DIR and files like those?
  10. so for my new gaming pc build im planning to use the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS IX HERO as my motherboard and the Intel Core i7 9700K, but im not sure if they are both compatible, because on the ASUS website for the MAXIMUS IX it says its made for the 7th and 6th gen Intel Processors
  11. so my laptop used to perform better once plugged into its 180 Watt power plug, but its performance is like its not plugged in. why is this? ive got a Dell Precision M4600 with Windows 10
  12. so this is the first time im trying to set up my own Minecraft Server. i downloaded and installed the most recent version of Java, installed Minecraft Server 1.14.4, and put that server file in a seperate Folder in my D drive named "MinecraftServer". i opened CMD as administrator, and i then typed as followed: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.18362.30] (c) 2019 Microsoft Corporation. Alle rechten voorbehouden. C:\Windows\system32>D: D:\>java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar MinecraftServer Error: Unable to access jarfile MinecraftServer D:\> What am i doing wrong and what can i do to fix this? heres the site im following: https://www.godaddy.com/garage/how-to-make-a-minecraft-server/
  13. dang thats a shame :') and yeah i just found it out myself actually lmaooo but yeah i can see both CPU's in there, thanks for the help anyway
