    Hardline Fittings

I used EKWB and Alphacool fittings and had no problems (leaks) so far. Only the threads on the ek fittings are really sharp, i sliced my fingers when i worrked with them.

Automotive radiator in a custom loop?

Just use one of these: https://watercool.de/en/mo-ra3-0

Liquid Metal Degrading After 6 Months

I applied LM around 13 months ago on my CPU die and its still fine with the same temperatures.
  4. I tried running my system passiv and works on idle (web browsing, watching videos, etc.) but under load the water temperatures increase slowly to about 35 to 40 °C which is the point where i turn the fans on because i don't feel comfortable with such high water temps. Roomtemperature was around 25°C.

    What are your pump/fan speeds?

My radiator fans run 650 rpm and my Aquastream XT pump runs 3840 rpm (64 Hz) for 90 - 95 l/h of flow.

thank you. i´m planning to upgrade in the near future to something with more power but i am currently undecided if i should chose an 9900k or the 9920x. I think for gaming the 9900k whould be the better choice, but at 1440p the cpu isn´t so much the bottleneck so the 9920x could be more futureproof?

Yes as you can see in my build log, the radiators are mounted under the desk at the back. The fans are in a push config and run @650 rpm. Here is the complete build log, if you are interested.... https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/909628-black-desk-project/?tab=comments#comment-11175009

    With my 2 Mo-Ra 3 360's and my XSPC RX360V3 i have 2520mm of radiator space XD
  9. Due to the excessive amount of radiator capacity heat is no problem for my loop.
  10. Ok that's good to know. I will use one of these if i upgrade my system at the end of the year. Are there no tests / reviews of such monoblocks with flow rate and temperature comparisons?
  11. Hi together, I want to ask if someone has experience with Monoblocks from EKWB for CPU and vrm. Are they more restrictive to the flow rate then a normal CPU Block ( ek supremacy evo), or is there no noticeable difference?
  12. I would recommend Caseking.de

    Black Desk Project

Today i added my old XSPC RX360 V3 to my loop. I had to change the rear panel of my case by moving the Mo-Ra`s 20mm to each side and create a new hole for the 360 radiator. Now i have 2520 mm of radiatorspace.
  14. just buy a chiller, but be careful with condensation when you go deeper then ambient temperature.

    I7 3770k abnormal temps?

Take the biggest radiator that fits in your case. But i can assure you, you can reach a point where more radiator space will not decrease temps..... Btw if you delid your cpu, the temps can go down 10-20°C.
