    I advise not to run Air on 1151 maybe if you don't plan on Overclocking but otherwise yes it will have water. the d14 couldn't even stop some stuff wanting to go to 85-90c...but water will stop it...

    I would just set it lower. Was always a thing some Louder than others. It's probably not bothering anything if it don't bother you go ahead and run it. I would still like to see everything fall around minimum 500-600L/H that can still get over some kind of Restrictive stuff a little better.

    I don't know man...Got one of the Vardar fans over here it died....and that pump in that kit isn't that good and it slowed down a little....Need to look into a little better quality. More of the stuff from China is more a step up right now..as Unregulated as they've always been their still throwing at some good stuff in the wc world.

    Yes it is, the Tim they use is shit and it's one of those thicker ones and they put too much on....it's like the old mom and pop paste...put just about anything on it and it will be better. I'll be testing the mx4 on the 7700k here soon, that's probably even better...concerned too what you are gonna pick to seal the lid back...wouldn't use some of those glues would be hard to get back off...silicone can be scraped off easy with a razer blade.

    You realize a basic 240 is like the Equivalent to 400-450watts, that's why I said bigger rads are mostly overkill. You're almost better off with increasing pump speeds and flow rates, yow would benefit more there.

    diminishing returns with air though..point where a bigger sinks don't do any better really...water is much better can always expand and get more stuff. Has much more Sophistication to it.

    1366 board and a new Pump. Needed a higher flow pump, 2nd block might be a little restrictive and yeah those slim rads are on the restrictive side too. actually performing really well. kicking my other pumps butt.

    Airrr not helping either...airrr a little harder time with Load temps imo. need a loop..even if not a fascinating one and a pump that's like 3 or 4 on a d5. Really should have a d5.

    Exactly you'll need to change it anyways, why being should of stayed with the Solder. Or just go overkill on water that's still gonna cool most things.

    SE I hear is suppose to be good stuff, But he always liked to use MX4 and I do like the stuff over AS5. So I put some of that on there. He was all Anti-delid and a lot of the same reason's a chance People tearing up there cpu's.

    I fiddled with it some more I plugged into the middle port and got the pump to work it all jumped etc...but then try to go to a few drives it don't work they don't show up in the Bios....so I don't know...rma. I tried different cables and even a Molex adapter still didn't work. I know I wanted to use it I thought it was ok and a little better of a unit.

    The Ek is some sort of Sodium Compound and variant quite a different approach and stuff. I don't know try some different stuff if you would like, run out just do a few rounds of 5% Glycol.

    Yeah tried the cables and both slots..didn't power any of the drives and also hooked up a sata plug tried to run the pump off of it and Nothing dead. The Apevia Beast is working though so far so good.

    This board is junk idk...should of tried to get a sabertooth or UD3R waited maybe found a good deal, I believe they can run them and clock it. it's one of AMI's redone Bios's the AMI 8 or whatever etc. I do not know either would have to ask them...seller was saying the i7 980x being unlocked could be overclocked on it...but those are still high wish I had one to try and find out though. I suppose it's a Miracle at all it runs anyways and now know the chip is still good though. swear picked up like 3-5 degrees on that slightly higher flow pump, now it's not like going over 45c really good.

    15c is pretty significant I think and might be worth it...hell something like Mx4 might be a 5-10 degree difference.
