  1. try Avast, my bro had some virus and it slowed down his pc so much it was like he was running Prime 95 in the background Avast was the only AV that found and removed it. if i were you i would save up some cash and get SSD anyways even if you fix this problem, i cant imagine to have system and stuff on 5400 drive must be real pain. and fresh reinstall will be handy at this point too imo gl
  2. ok wanted to read all the comments and then write my own one, but apparently it is impossible and the page counter is rising too fast rofl Big gratz on 1milion subs LMG thats awesome. As most of the people here i dont really remember my 1st vid ive seen, but it was like 2 years ago for sure and since then your videos helped me decide when picking parts few times and showed me new stuff to try out. Keep up the good work guys. btw thanks for inventing the word "Pookloo" we are still using that with my bro
  3. you can either get fan controller(NZXT Sentry Mesh 2 is a good one ) as those above me said or you can do it the "cheap" way as i did and that is Y splitter in another Y splitter...the mobo headers should handle even more then 3 fans so i wouldnt worry about the wattage and stuff. There are even 5 way splitters iirc, not sure about brand and if they were 3 or 4 pin but they exist. That way you can controll your fans in zones for front top etc
  4. cant wait to see it finished man. really great choice of parts imo...i would pick the same if i won a lottery or something lol. wish i could build pc like this without compromises due to me being "poor" lol. it reaminds me of my pc on steroids btw. the Asus ROG SWIFT is so sexy, even without pics lol, GIEEFFFF!!
  5. Genius is making these cheap 5.1 headphones(GX Cavimanus) with motors inside which are vibrating to increase the base feeling...it is kinda weird at 1st but it is kinda working somehow
  6. i was about to suggest Speedfan cause thats what i use for the exact same thing, but seeing it doesnt work for you..i dont know maybe there is a fix for your speedfan problem somewhere...but it works perfectly fine on my Z77 board.
  7. i bet you have Shadowplay enabled, for me it does increase idle tems up to 55°C on my 780, when i noticed that i was really surprised. try to turn Shadowplay off and see it will go down to 30 hopefully. GL
  8. if you want awesome red/black mechanical keyboard go for Corsair K70, its great...got that one for like half a year and love it. the volume wheel is "WAAAAAYYYYY" better then the ussual FNkey+something. btw if you want you can check mine red/black setup(link in my sig)...its kinda low end compared to yours but i still love it
  9. cool story bro, but i call BS...most of normal wood needs over 160°C to catch aflame by itself so there is no way the bench would catch on fire just from the sun alone.
  10. dont want to disapoint you mate, but those 17°C you are getting is most likely false reading on AMD part for this kind of temps your ambient room temp would need to be like 5°C aint e-loops like twice the price the corsairs ? atleast in my country they are, sadly.
  11. basicaly iam using tons of "Y" 4 pin splitters from Akasa i think, i have the fans set up in something like zones (3 front, 2top+1rear, and CPU fans) CPU fans are conected to CPU1 port on the mobo so is the PWM controll. Front fans are connected to Chasis1 port and Top+rear fans to Chasis2 port which is PWM controled and regulated by Speedfan with curve set according to GPU temp.
  12. the yellow is nice but do you realize you have airflow fan on your EVO ? The NF-S12 is airflow/case oriented fan iirc. (btw the fans ruin the system as some1 said before get those Typhoons and paint them or SP120s but this is grows lol ) also i would like to defend the quite edition of Corsair SP120 fans abit...they are NOT that loud as people makes them. i have 8 of them in my system, CPU fans controled by MOBOs PWM and for case fans iam using Speedfan to get the right speeds. At idle i cant hear them at all, they are running at 400-600 RPM idle, i did let them go up to 1250RPM at load which makes them audible but you dont need those kind of RPM seeing that you are using ULNAdapters with those Noctua fans anyways so you will be fine with 400-700 RPM max i would say. They look really super cool with yellow rings (JayZs personal rig anyone ? )
  13. this is how i have gheto mounted mine untill i make proper frame for it in work and buy some real filter ive used the foam which is used in pc part boxes and stylish pantyhose as a filter lol...it works and i dont really see it so it doesnt bother me that much atm
  14. What do you guys think, should i get the Dell P2414H or save up abit more and get 2560*1440 display(something like Dell UltraSharp U2713HM)? I want this purchase to feel like a big upgrade and iam not sure if those extra 2 inches and better colors will do it if i get the 24inch LCD. My current display has 0,25 pixel pitch and compared to the Dell with 0,27 iam afraid ill see the "matrix"(that is prolly BS right ?) Iam also considering Benq XL2420Z since all i do is gaming basicaly, but i dont really feel the need for 144Hz, on the other hand this monitor is so damn good looking that iam really tempted to buy Benq and later the Dell as a 2nd screen to completly replace my LG.
  15. Hello guys, I would like to apology 1st, because this is not really a build log, but more of a timeline as I was upgrading, changing parts in my PC and getting pics. Sadly most of the photos are taken with my potato phone cam which is not only quite bad but also old (Samsung SGH-U800) so the quality and especially the red colors are quite off. You can find full album here http://imgur.com/a/YYsVv#0 it contains over 100 photos some(35) are with commentary. My full speccs atm are: CPU : Intel i5 3570k @ 4,2Ghz Cooler : Noctua NH-D14 Mobo : Asrock Z77 Pro 3 GPU : Asus GTX780 DCU II RAM : Corsair Vengeance LP 2x4GB 1600Mhz SSD : OCZ Vertex 4 128GB HDD1 : WD Blue 1TB HDD2 : Samsung 750GB Case : Coolermaster Enforcer PSU : Corsair GS700 Fans : 8x Corsair SP120 QE Extensions : Bitfenix Alchemy Led strips: Akasa Red+Akasa White strips LCD : LG Flatron W2261VP Mouse : Gamdias Zeus Keyboard : Corsair K70 (red switches) Headphones : Logitech G230 Speakers Logitech X210 2.1 1st pic i took after cpu, mobo, case, heatsink upgrade(1 year ago atleast!!) I was such a noob back there(was thinking i wasnt lol) RAMs not in dual channel, cables everywhere etc Got new PSU..man i was excited untill i found out its so bad At this point(months after the last pic) ive finally saved enough for next upgrade : GTX780+NH-D14 and 4+4pin CPU extension. At the 5.25 drive cage you can see knots, those are my antivibration gheto HDD mounts...it kinda works but its damn ugly from this side lol my planing skills are bad mkay I was rocking 2x200mm CM fans at front and top with Aerocool led fan at the back. On the Evo i have the original fan+rear stock case fan in pull This is how it looked from the outside back then...rocking MS Sidewider x4 and Gigabyte mouse. It looks nice, but not as i want it to look yet... something have changed..cleaned up the cable mess abit, bought extensions and printed custom stickers for PSU...the blue rim on it is ugly right ? Lets light it up (only red lights still) White led strip instaled and warranty broken on my PSU...spray painted the blue rim, cause it was imposible get my hands on the original corsair accesories kit in Czech(even whole EU maybe) Love the cooler now! sorry Noctua fanbois, but the original fans are fugly and not PWM Hate this part of my pc...gotta do something with that, either full PSU cover which goes over the shitty cables or extensions. Need to learn lacing cables...the 24pin needs that so badly The most GHETO part of my pc It works great my CPU temp is much better now and i can still keep my lovely possitive pressure in the case. When i have some extra time in work for personal projects iam going to cut proper mount for it.(working on CNC machine...sadly woodwork and plastic so no full case mods for me ) oh and yea that is a pantyhose...dont ask Double side tape is gods gift lol...this makes cleaning of the table abit easier Iam not proud of this tbh, but w/e it looks fine from the correct side and i can close the panel without an outside help so its fine i guess lol On older photos you can see hub and router on this spot...they are gone now...double taped to the bottom of our tables Beast GPU <3 Still missing 6+2 pin extension for my GPU...how is possible they were all sold out in whole Czech rep. ? HDDs in my 5,25bay you can see the rubber ropes. Also look at the weird loops i have to do with those sata cables to connect the HDDs they are like inverted or something lol. Dat dust on the rats nest cover Covers are made from mobo box filling..i admit it looks kinda gheto My "dick"lamp works like a great headphone stand My brothers green themed machine(excuse to buy Razer gear ) he does get most of parts i no longer need/use. you can also see our hub and router on this pic b4 i glued them to the tables. And this is how corner looks like(when its cleaned lol) My plans in the future are getting new LCD (considering DELL Professional P2414H since the price of it went down quite abit in my country, but still cant decide if 120Hz or IPS, cause iam gaming mostly, but it cant be worse then the LG i use right ?i mean speed wise...since iam playing WOW mostly). I would also like to replace my HDDs with atleast 1T SSD cause the mechanic monsters are the loudest part of my pc when they read/write something and rest of the PC is idling. Some day i might go on spending spree and replace my case with Corsair 760T, H440 or 450D, my shitty mobo with Asus Sabretooth or something more fancy dont know yet Iam sorry about the quality, also i cant figure out how to link images from LTT galery using the "My Media" button without the pics shrinking like this. Oh and sorry about my english i know its not perfect. Hope you like it atleast little bit, cause it was basicaly my 1st build where i cared about the looks and some basic color scheme. Thanks for checking my rig, feel free to ask any questions... have a nice day folks.
