if motherboard accepts the mix, the faster module will run at the speed of the slower module when i say accept, some motherobard will refuse to boot when you mix modules ,speeds, brands, cl timings, other will just boot with whatever you put on them on single channel mode, or just migth work in dualchannel normally motherboards are like that

that is not a anomally, is called undervolting it is what apple did on some new macbooks to stop them from overheating not all cpus will go that low and remain stable, is the same as overclocking, but instead of pushing more mhz, you try to keep same mhz with lower power consumption you can try it just loke he did, try lowering a bit the voltage, check for stability, lower voltage again, untill you see a system freeze or reset, then set a bit higher voltage and you are golden this trick could be useful for those who want to keep pc cool, silent and dont put much load on vrms, on theory

limited rgb is a option thst exist to work as a compatibility measure for tvs and monitors not capable of show full colors i always leave it on, but if you find it problematic i would try to adjust monitor color, brigthmess and contrast controls, depends on the tv or monitor you use what you adjust and what you get

the new pi4 is more meant to be used as a desktop, that is why it has alot more ram is faster, has faster ethernet, faster usb 3 ports, is better, but if you are happy with what your 3b+ offers, you dont necesarily need it if you want one and can afford it, so you have two, well, i would buy it if i was you

about factory reset, that is something one does when messes up installation, always when you mess up a windows 10 installation and need to reset, is easier and faster to reinstall from clean, keep a windows 10 usb installer around

i dont know of any recovery environment partition apart the ones i listed and that would be tbe 500mbs one if you are using a pc that has lots of partitons, one of them suspiciously 15gbs in size, that is usually a recovery partition, created by the oem manufacturer to recover pc when you mess it up or kill the windows partition what i do in a laptop or desktop first, when is a prebild machine i dodnt installed is format hard disk, kill all partitions and then install from clean, so i dont have to deal with partitions i dont want or need that is why i mentioned the partitions you should see a save, if you have more than those i mentipned, just make bakcups of your personal files and then wipe that hard disk, start from clean and forget that partiton only god knows where it is and what contains

afik the only cpu that has nvme limitations is athlon 200ge if your motherbpard refuses to see the nvme ssd is the motherbpard giving you problems

psu is shorted or motherboard, that is why it tries and shutsdown disasemble and check motherboard extensively try with another psu, dont use any rgb, just use cpu fan while testing

cat5e is great, but as mentioned, recently i have seen cables made of other materials, not copper wires, those are garbage cat6 i havent seen other thing than copper, i havent used 6e, is very expensive, for my hose i have cat6, some cat5e on some devices, but to comunicate routers with modem and most desktops i have only cat6, i never have issues about the original question, ping is all messed up because wifi has to deal with other wifi signals, noise form other sources, weak signal caused by walls and floor between other reasons to play games, ethernet is the way to go

when you install windows on one hard disk or one ssd, when the hard disk or ssd doesnt have any partition, windows 10 will create 3 partitions, one that is your c drive, another that is a 500mbs reserved for windows partition and a third one that is like a boot partition, can be 100 mbs in size but is not present always there might be a fourth one that can be as small as 16mbs the 100 and the 16 ones are present on my desktop which has multiple hard disks, on my laptop i only have the c:\ and the 500mbs one

i woumdnt buy anything under cat 6 now, especially for long distances i have seen cat 5e made on so low quality recently, almost sad to see invest on some decent cat 6 or the best cat5e you can find

anything you do to acrylic will scratch it more i heard people using that liquid silicone or even floor polish to apply over the acrylic, to protect it and make it shiny and hide a bit some scratches i wouldnt do any of that and to be honest, best thing one can do is not touch it and when is all scratched up, move to a glass panel case and forget you had a acrylic case panel

for me, the other day i ran lots of tests, all went fine, then i played gta and pc crashed in so weird ways in a matter of minutes prime95 is more meant to test cpu temperatures in my opinion, not stability, cinebench can make a bad cpu overclock crash, but a heavy game for many hours to me is what really tests how good is a overclock

i had a similar problem the other day, but it was with overclocked ram, all of a sudden it worked really slow and then pc refused to boot, weird things can happen when overclocking
