  1. I have actually been there that my girlfriend asked if I had any games we could play together on my pc(1 keyboard, 1 controller) and I tried a few things, turned out that only dirt 3 would support splitscreen for that scenario, portal 2 was also a possibility, but somehow it couldn't allow keyboard and controller at the same time, but it seems to support 2 controllers at the same time for splitscreen
  2. I quite like that intro and it's closer to reality then I like to admit.
  3. two razer prototype laptop's got stolen, razer put up a bounty of up to $25k, a witch hunt started, but people aren't taking it serious and think it is a "promotion stunt" which ended up in news sites reporting fake news and so much jokes/stupidity being thrown around that it's hard to know what's real and what not.
  4. Hmm alright, these things don't make it much easier to really know what's going and what to trust and not if people start to pull this kind of jokes. we aren't meant to have nice stuff =(
  5. Thank you for giving the update, I will add it directly. I saw them yes, but didn't have time before now to explore them, it looks like I'm walking against the same wall as several other users mentioned, weibo redirects me to their homepage instead of the posted link.
  6. not just him, also here. If I click the link I get to a 404 page.
  7. In countries like China and Hongkong there is a difference between stealing and copying, the idea of "intellectual property" does not exist there, idea's are free to be copied and improved. taking a physical object/device without permission however is indeed unthinkable there, not even the government does it when it comes down to taking houses from people, they have to leave willingly, otherwise building plans are adapted to the person not moving out and they build around that house.(that seriously happens every now and then) If you have ever been part of any security related matter then you know it's not as easy as it sounds, people don't see 360 degrees and cant pay continuous attention to everything that moves on a busy showfloor, not even in front of a set of TV monitors. would be a great idea, the organization(CES) would need to cooperate with it though. mentioned before and by far the worst idea ever for marketing. things like this as "marketing" are more likely to backfire, besides what are they trying to sell here? their name? that's already widely known, just like their products.
  8. sadly youtube is changing direction and instead of encouraging quality content it's now more encouraging to use click baity titles and thumbnails to get views etc. it's a sad change since quality content doesn't get the attention that it deserves right now, unless they resort to click baity practices.
  9. Thanks for the heads up! thanks for informing. That tweet is from 2015, pretty outdated and probably solved already Just added new source's into the OP which state what has been stolen.

nuclear waste? well if we ignore industry usage the average human will only produce 2.1kg(4.6lbs) off nuclear waste in it's entire life. but hey "it is dangerous" apparently and there is more waste then ecological goodness according to less informed people.
  11. like said before, that would be the worst PR possible in the long-term, practice's like that can kill a company, not something razer plans on doing.
  12. are you people still going about intelectual property "theft" against physical theft?
  13. on what got stolen we got nothing, but all known prototypes where the laptop and beamer. tell that my 5y/o naga
  14. ehmm I'm sorry, but are you on the right topic? this goes about a real, working prototype/idea of concept that razer showed at CES in las vegas, demoed by the LTT channel and many more, this is a serious issue and not some bad attempt for free marketing, since the object that has been stolen isn't even for sale.
  15. I say do it yourself, the hardest thing to do is getting the mount on the wall and hang the TV on it, but that combined is less then 30mins work without tutorial if you keep the manual next to it, just get a 2nd person to help where needed(unless you are with 2 already) and you should be fine.
  16. it wasn't going to happen quickly anyway I guess since both products are more the "proof of concept" type of thing then actual working devices, the difference between those is that proof of concept shows that it is possible but is allowed to have flaws, while a working prototype is close to the final product.
  17. thanks you for the information! will add it directly.
  18. yes there where 2 prototypes, project ariana and project valerie. http://www.razerzone.com/project-ariana http://www.razerzone.com/project-valerie
  19. Hmm there is something to that yeah, but then again that beamer set-up/idea they showed off is also a prototype, could be that one of either has been stolen, but only time will tell I guess.
  20. really? got any source for that so that I can update the OP with it? they probably have, that's why it's so unexpected and ehh.. surprising. but then again, there are A LOT of people moving around, it's hard to keep track of something constantly.
  21. source:polygon Original post: It looks like people actually stole prototypes from the razer CES booth this year, this is a major issue regarding other possible cases of theft at CES, although not much is known like what prototypes or when they where stolen. Since they are speaking about 2 prototypes it's fair to assume that it is about project valerie and project ariana, which where to my knowledge the only protoypes showed off by razer this year, so it's either one of both that went missing or two of one project. From Cnet, with thanks to @Kierax https://www.cnet.com/news/razer-prototypes-stolen-ces-2017/#ftag=CAD590a51e Update 1: After having this topic up for roughly a day there has been more news that I have been able to filter out of the not so serious responses. from PCgamer, with thanks to @LunaP0n3 http://www.pcgamer.com/razers-show-stealing-triple-display-laptops-stolen-from-ces/?utm_content=buffer6ccbd&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=buffer_pcgamerfb from polygon, with thanks to @mosin40 http://www.polygon.com/2017/1/9/14211496/razer-prototype-theft-ces it looks like it where two of the laptops that have been stolen, with a suspected worth of $25k, this sounds as a lot for 2 laptops, but let's not forget that this are prototypes/proof of concept devices, for the company that made them they are worth a lot more, but the value is probably based on the fact that they don't come rolling of a production line and mostly have been hand made or with special fabrication methods that are not available on a large scale. let's hope that they catch the thief/thieves soon, some people just that it is "just" razer, but let's not forget that the result of this case can set a precedence for future thefts of other companies. Update2: It looks like the prototypes have been seen on a chinese resale site, which confirms suspicions of earlier people, from loveley WCCFtech, thanks to our darklord @Sauron but also a special mention to @MyEngGooest since he/she reported it before, but sadly with links that I cannot properly visit without a redirection to the wrong page. http://wccftech.com/razer-valerie-laptops-found/ This is both good, but also bad news, the seller is probably known and can be identified, it's not a crappy marketing idea of razer; but to get the prototypes bacl they first need to find him and get to Chinese authorities to cooperate in this witchhunt.
  22. nice way solving that problem. Your shot looks good, but the only problem I have is that there is no subject in it, everything is in focus, foreground, background, sky, clouds, horizon, but nothing to draw particular attention, so I would say 6/10, since I don't know what to look at. Did my first proper panorama recently, no editing, just a black and white conversion.(click it for the full view on flickr) absence of life by thommy saltzherr, on Flickr
