  1. My old H100i kicked the bucket a few days ago, so I bought a new Arctic Liquid Freezer to replace it, and also bought a new EPS 4+4 to replace the one I lost who knows how long ago now that originally came with my power supply. Overall everything went pretty well, problem being that there's some kind of issue when actually booting the system. When I turn it on, I get a video signal out, monitor turns on, but nothing ever appears on the screen, have left it alone for several hours, which eventually causes the monitor to go into sleep mode, but no change other than that. System seems to be working for the most part otherwise, from what I can tell it's not actually getting fully past POST, my keyboard's numlock does not activate, and the BOOT LED code on my motherboard stays on, though it's green. Doesn't boot loop or anything, just hangs, GPU fans don't spin, or at least not long enough for me to notice, but it's in zero RPM mode by default, LEDs and such on the GPU light up. All the peripheral hardware is known to be good, using it right now on another system, hardware has been unchanged for about 2 months aside from cooler and that extra EPS pin, GPU is from January, motherboard and CPU from May. Has anyone else experienced a problem like this? I've tried swapping the RAM positions, unplugging that new EPS cable, reseating the GPU, no luck on any fronts. At this point the most likely thing in my mind is bent pins, used 91% isopropyl and gave it about a half hour to dry before plugging it back into the wall and powering up so the board is likely fine, but I kept the CPU in the socket while cleaning off the old paste. Kind of befuddled what it could be Relevant system specs: 5800x ASUS TUF X570 WiFi II Gigabyte 3070 Ti Corsair RM1000 Gold (the old Type 3 one, cable is also a Type 3, fit without any force)
  2. Don't know if this is just an intentional thing or if I'm actually having an issue but my ROG Swift is incredibly hot. My setup involves my mouse arm going beside it, and it kinda burns just to graze the bottom bezel with my arm or hand by accident. It's only the bottom bezel strangely, and I have no other issues with it besides, but is this really how it was designed? EDIT: I don't have a thermometer on hand to check, but I'm assuming it's around the 90-110°F range by feeling. EDIT 2: I've had it since around March, and it's given me no trouble other than that. Honestly I'm just asking as a preventative measure, as I doubt a monitor that gets this hot will last very long.
  3. I'm thinking it's a PC centered bug, since I've seen videos of people buying them in the consoles and read you're supposed to be able to in SP on all platforms.
  4. The only car I have in the special vehicles drop down is the Elegy RH8, and there is no DLC for the game on Steam currently.
  5. I tried positing this on the Steam Forums but, as anyone who has tried to do in the last two days will tell you, the forums are getting absolutely bombarded since the game is so popular, so I'll just try and copy my post here so people can actually find it I was told by the WIki and a few other forum posts the only way to actually get the Entity XF (and a few other cars, but the Enitity is what I'm looking for) is to buy them on Legendary Motorsport. However, my Legendary Motorsport page seems to.... Lack these cars and a few others in single player. Here's a screenshot of my page (had to clip the top 3 cars and just the bottom of the Vacca, since it wouldn't all fit in my screenshot) https://i.imgur.com/eAVLW0E.jpg EDIT: This is in single player and the only car I'm really looking for is the Entity XF (Koenigsegg in RL)
  6. Is there any way I could use my PC (Windows 7) microphone and headset as a sort of passthrough for calls on my Android? I want to be able to game, do productivity or generally just not have to stop what I'm doing so I can have a call with someone. I run an HTC One M7, fully rooted if that is in any way important.
  7. I've looked around YouTube and Amazon and found a model called the Saitek X52 (http://www.amazon.com/Saitek-X52-Flight-Control-System/dp/B00030GSJY) which looks fairly compelling. It looks well built and feature stocked, but I don't know if it'd be a good purchase. It's over the 100$ but if it's a good system I can stomach the extra 50$
  8. To preface I've never actually owned a flight stick before, so this is an environment completely new to me. So on to the actual topic: I plan on getting a flight stick around the time Star Citizen releases so I can take advantage of the VR headset I also hope to buy around that point in time, so does anyone who actually knows flight sticks for under/close to 100$ that are good for someone like myself? I can probably exceed that budget if absolutely necessary, but as I said, I have literally no idea how to judge quality of these things.
  9. Are you buying a Pebble Time/Pebble Time Steel Yes: Congratulations! You just passed Kindergarten's IQ entrance examine No: Sadly, you are either brainwashed, not seeing the benefits of a smartwatch or just crazy.
  10. Hello fellow patrons of LTT. I am planning on buying a ASUS ROG Swift G-Sync monitor (whenever someone gets the things stocked) and I have two questions regarding that. First: Will I be able to run my games on ultra/high at 1440p with 2 superclocked 780s? Second: Can I run Windows at 1920x1080 while running a game at 2560x1440 to avoid the awful scaling in Windows?
  11. I just watched Linus's video on the ASUS G751 and have started considering it as a laptop. I've read up on it and it would appear the only HDD capacity for it is 1TB, although I would personally prefer to have 2TB, since I'm a bit of a data hoarder. This brings me to my question: Can the G751 accept 3.5 inch drives? I'm having a difficult time finding standard 2.5 inch drives in 2TB+, so I was wondering, since the G751 is an larger laptop, can it accept 3.5 inch drives? Thanks for the help in advance. Also, if this thread should be in the storage section feel free to move me, just figured it's more applicable to mobile devices than storage.
  12. Congrats on the huge milestone Linus and crew, you guys produce arguably the best tech centered content on Youtube. I personally can't wait until another review like you did with the Streets, as that was funny as hell. Congrats again guys and I hope I can win some free LTT Swag.
  13. I love that it was an attendee at the world's highest altitude LAN party, until SpaceLAN or MarsLANder, whichever you guys prefer.
  14. I was looking for a review of some graphics card about a year and a half ago, saw his channel and the video/audio quality looked nice so I watched it and almost immediately subbed.
  15. I remember being 4 years old, on my dad's original Xbox (I thankfully am no longer a console peasant), enjoying things like GTA: San Andreas/Vice City, MX Vs ATV and all sorts of other things. I never really got super into gaming until I got my own PS2 though, and started playing stuff like Bully, Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Destroy all Humans, all of which I place upon my personal pedestal of some of the best games of all time.
