  1. Hey Rob, If you need Case fans - go with the QF140 as these will have traditional 140mm fan spacing. The XF140 fans are built for CPU coolers -- they have 120mm fan spacing for maximum air flow through to your CPU coolers.
  2. The game is just poorly optimized... which is kinda sad. Did you install the game on a HDD or SSD? (doubt that it would matter if you installed on SSD, but you could give it a shot) Otherwise, my other suggestion is probably try tinker around with the settings - turn off AA / turn off V-Sync etc. Sorry I couldn't help much
  3. Logitech G903/703 + Powerplay Mousepad (very pricey), I've been using the G903 for a few years now, absolutely love it and adding PowerPlay is just brilliant! As for keyboard, honestly its personal preference with key switches (I agree G910 is trash, keycaps + switches aren't for me). However I do recommend Logitech G710+ (Brown/Blue switches) it just has everything you need - 1 row of G keys - media control - white led backlighting - detachable wrist rest!
  4. Have you plugged your display cable into the graphics card and not your motherboard? Cos 40-50frames on low lettings sounds like frame rates for Intel iGPU.
  5. My favourite part would have to be the Accent Lighting Kit.. because I'm a sucker for LED lighting
  6. Not gonna lie.. My panties dropped I love my G710+ right now, but I am also using my Ducky Shine 2 Blue Switches, and I just love that tactile feeling and click sound. Fuse G710+ with Blue switches... oh mother of god, I'm in keyboard Heaven
  7. Awesome job Linus & Linus Media Group! Congratulation on hitting the 1 million subscribers milestone, this is only the tip of the iceberg for you guys. I just wanted to say, thank you for all your hard work in creating these videos for the past 5 years. 5 years ago, I was building my second PC, and I was searching up motherboard reviews. Somehow I managed to find your unboxing video on the MSI P55-GD65; which at the time was the motherboard I was deciding on. After your short 2-3min video, I made up my mind. A Black-Blue themed PC rather than a Black-Red (pretty much the only options at the time). Also I am pretty sure you released a (quick) overclocking guide for this specific motherboard also, I found it neat as it was a new feature just coming into the market at the time and to be honest, I didn't know what they were for, since I don't like reading manuals I have been watching every single video you've released since that MSI P55-GD65 video, and I must say, your enthusiasm in each video has not dropped at all. You really are a unique channel! Thank you for the awesome 5 years of video production, heres to the next 5 years for Linus Media Group. P.S - This is the first forum I've actually ever joined, the community here is awesome. I know I don't contribute much, but I am always here reading and catching up on Tech News
  8. I am soo disappointed with the "Apple WATCH". This design really shows how much they've changed in the past couple years. They've decided to go with a square face.... , which to me shows- design went in with the concept of "SMART" watch first... this product should have been designed like a Watch with a round face, just like how Motorola tackled it. All I can say now is... we miss you Steve Jobs!! rant: DAFAQ is up with the camera bump!? iphone 6... PLUS? ....Companies need to learn how to name their products better. Sigh, guess ill be picking up a Xperia Z2 (or Note 4) soon... My Nexus 5 has served me well.
  9. i'm excited for other switches, mostly blues and browns. I was actually expecting a slightly higher pricing to be honest, but happy with the $199 price tag for now.
  10. Sorry, this is a dupe post, Please remove Refer to below post - http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/204226-corsair-vengeance-k70-rgb-pricing-aus/
  11. Guys, its finally out! Corsair's RGB K70 keyboards have been listed up on PC Case Gear, pricing is AUD $199, this is AUD $40 more than the normal backlit K70s. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=28729 (Link to a Red LED K70 @ AUD $159 - http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=113_1276&products_id=27146) Right now they only have Cherry MX Red switches listed. I can't wait for either a brown or blue cherry switch to come out Will any of my fellow strayan's be buying this? I personally have a Logitech G710+ atm, and I absolutely love it for typing and gaming, so I won't be moving to a RGB mech keyboard anytime soon.
  12. Awesome! Another phone to have front facing speakers. dbrand also did a great job on the custom skin
