  1. Coolest: Lenovo U530 Touch Most expensive: '02 WRX Random: Went searching stores looking for 3DS/2DS deals and ended up buying an acoustic guitar.
  2. I spilled tea on one of my older rigs and didn't notice how far it went down until I saw dried up tea all over the wall/back of the rig a couple days later bahaha. I also find myself continually reaching into my case while my rig is still on and my knuckles always have a little skirmish with the case fans.
  3. You'd be surprised at what Goodwill has (where I got my chair.. comfy as hell and it was $10).
  4. I don't know about you but my itunes opens instantly. I've purchased every single song in my library on itunes and have had no problems with it whatsoever. I'm not an apple fan myself but I still use itunes because it's a great software for purchasing digital music.
  5. Looks like something you'd pick up at the swap meet or overseas.
  6. Off the top of my head: Liars, e-cigs, chalk, balloons (my phobia), screeching noises, those big-ego people who stare at themself in the mirror at the gym.
  7. I've lost count the amount of times I tried that. Trust me, I've tried but had many relapses in my attempts. I'd also try brew my own coffee and ice it down but it's just not the same. I'm really wanting to end my addiction and haven't really talked about it with anybody except maybe my girlfriend and a few close friends. I might try to reduce the quantity again and see where it goes from there. I appreciate your reply though, just came off another double shift and I was about to grab another one before I go to the gym but I think I'll pass on that. \threadturnedserious
  8. I've been drinking those Java Monster Coffee energydrinkmabobbers literally EVERY DAY for the past three years. I'm addicted to them but recently just gotten sick of them, moreover the Irish Blend flavor. I can guarantee you that I've dropped $2 per day on those for the morning, because I get withdrawals if I don't have my fair share (one single can); I get intense headaches if I don't drink coffee for more than a day or two, and I've bought those cans because they are quick and pretty good. I'm 100% sure I've spent $2k+ on those the last few years combined.. I'm really trying to stop but what can I say, the last one I had was this morning.. thought I'd need one because I worked a double shift. There are days where I felt queasy and weird while drinking them and I stopped a week or two after I read that story about how a guy found a dead rat in the can or something like that but I seriously can't bring myself to stop baha. I need an alternative.. I just CAN'T drink hot coffee; it must be cold. I'm hoping I live until I'm at least 60.
  9. Watching them getting stuck in the inside on a huge set (surfing).
  10. I bought prime as a student for $39 for this year.. compared to Netflix, prime's library of videos via movies lacks a lot of appealing titles. I pretty much only have prime because of the shipping, if you're looking for movies I'd go with Netflix. If you're purchasing movies (I purchased one via prime), then go right ahead.
  11. Processor: 7.3 Disk Score: 7.7 3d Graphics: 4.3 Graphics Score: 4.9 Memory Score: 7.3 It won't detect my dedicated graphics card, so it took the scores from my integrated HD 4400..
  12. This is the most recent pic I could find of my beach bum
  13. I don't currently dorm at this very moment, I drive down everyday but I'm literally at my friends' dorm all the time and have stayed many nights... enough to basically live in the dorms. I'm dorming next year if that helps but I have enough experience to tell you the basics of what you'll need as a techy. This is what I have: My ultrabook, extra iphone USB cables, smart phone (my 5s), external gaming mouse, mousepad, a headset along with a good pair of in ear earphones.. What I've learned is that you should always have extra usb cables along with an extra set of earphones. I see you've got the router.. For the ethernet adapter, its better to be safe than sorry. It's great knowing you have it and it just being there in case, rather than worrying about not having one. I personally replaced my 1tb hdd in my ultrabook with a 120gb ssd which I'm planning to upgrade to a higher capacity soon. Obviously bring a storage drive to back up all your data, if not it's a good idea emailing major projects and such to yourself so you KNOW they're there. Kudos on the free office, I'm using kingsoft D: In your backpack, and trust me on this, keep a usb cable for your phone w/ charger, a backup battery bank for your phone or something, a nice pair of earphones.. aa extra laptop charger would be much more convenient because I only bring my ultrabook to class without the charger and I run it pretty close at times (I never bring it because its situated in a pretty tight spot and its a hassle to constantly grab and put back). Props to you leaving your rig at home. You aren't going to touch that thing once second semester comes around because you'd probably be playing smash bros or something with a bunch of friends, or studying.. or along the lines of having a life (; Maybe bring a nice pair of speakers/subs? I don't have any but my friends both got some logitech z313's (I think) in their dorm and they pound. HDMI cable to hook it up to a tv for movies and such? Just keep in mind spares are key. You're also going to be on your smartphone A LOT.. they are life savers. I don't know if this applies to all dorms, but the dorms at my school are quite small. So keep that in mind if the dorms you are moving into are also small. If I can think of anything else, I'll add more.. I just got off a long day of school/work so my mind isn't quite fully here baha.
