I would have also recommended the XG258 but its not worth it for the price jump specswise.

Since they aren't giving literally ANY details, whatsoever, about it, it's probably just some sort of QoS-bullshit.

SomeTechScrub got a reaction from r2724r16 in Recently I found this thing.....
I was browsing thru Reddit when I saw this promotion about a software called ExitLag. They claim to lower your ping, which is a very big thing for me as I play with others from across the globe. However, I would like to get to know how it works. Anyone able to figure this out?

SomeTechScrub reacted to kaliico in Bought a new gpu, need help
So I bought a 1660 from gigabyte because my 1050ti is starting to give me some serious issues. I realized after I bought the 1660 that it needs an 8 pin connector. I have no clue where my bag of psu cables went after I moved, but I rummaged thro my girlfriends psu cable bag and it had what I needed. However when I went to plug that cable into my psu this morning it did not want to plug in. I googled around a bit because I have a corsair psu and the cable was an evga and apparently they aren't standardized. So my questions are, is there any way I can make that evga cable work, will it be ok to run the 1660 on just power from the pci slot until I get a cable tomorrow, and if the evga cable won't work, can I just buy an 8 pin to 8 pin cable on amazon?

SomeTechScrub got a reaction from Zando_ in How far can you push your GTX 1660 Ti?
Alright, I spend a solid hour with +120 and +1000. Averaged around 2515. I let the PC cool down after each run (Did 3 runs). Its quite time consuming so I've abandoned my tests. I'll make another thread about how far I've pushed my GTX 1660 Ti and what I did during each run.

Hmm.... Alright. It's quite late for me, I'll find time to slowly benchmark

open the disk manager and check if they show up there, they might just not be initialized

You need to add drive letters to the drives without any. So right click on the partition for Disk 0 and click "Change Drive Letter and Paths" then pick a free drive letter. Then repeat for Disk 1 and Disk 3. Don't do this for Disk 2's second partition.
