  3. So i recently bought 3 new screens to replace the 4480x1080 surround setup that i had to a 6390x1080 (an ultrawide in the middle and two 16:9 at the sides) and some games dont scale very well with that resolution, so for example if the minimap doesnt remain in the middle screen and it goes to an edge is so far away that i cant see it without turning my neck, and doing that is not only distracting from the game, but it hurts my neck after a few hours. Is there any software or workaround to stream part of the screen to for example my phone or another pc. I have taken apart my old laptop and conected it to a raspberry pi screen that i have under my main monitor, so have the map there would be pretty handy. Anyone knows if is any way to do this? thanks in advance

    Popular garbage music

I just ignore these types of charts and listen to electronic and some indie music, but i agree with you, its pretty much all garbage...
  6. in device manager there aren't any warnings, but i dont see any touchscreen either, the only one i see is the "generic Pnp monitor"
  7. Alredy rebooted and reinstalled the drivers of the screen, but the problem seems to persist
  8. So i bought an alienware 13 r3 some days ago and it was working perfectly, but i just connected to a second screen in class and the touch capability seems to have gone, even with the second screen disconected. Windows reports that is not a touchscreen, but it was working 15 min ago and it has been working fine until now. Anyone knows how to fix this? Thanks in advice

Multiple cards in one big eyefinity monitor

and isnt any way to make this work? the concept is similar to the nvidia mosaic that linus used in his 16k video

Multiple cards in one big eyefinity monitor

because that monitor is super expenssive, and also i wnat to be able to desactivate the eyefinity and use the 3 monitors individually
  11. So i actually have a triple monitor setup that im going to upgrade this black friday (the two left and right screens are old 4:3). Im running this setup with a 2 way crossfire or r9 furys. I just got a really good offer on a fury X, and with a risor cable and a server PSU that i have laying arround i could just put the fury X outside of the case (i alredy did that with ne of the furys to test if it would work, and it does). So, the question is, could i connect a monitor to each card and run it with an eyefinity profile to fuse the monitors? will it work in games? Edit: i forgot to mention that crossfire deactivates video outputs on the slave cards, so this would be with crossfire deactivated
  12. does your laptop have thunderbolt 3? if not you wont be able to plug the eGPU

Cloning a mac hdd to a new ssd

So my dad has a second imac that he uses for work, and its old, so it uses an hdd, and its significantly slower that the primary mac he uses, that has a nvme ssd. So he wants to upgrade it to a ssd without losing the data and having to reinstall all programs. So, my questoin is, could i just clone his hdd into an ssd using a drive dock like this one? https://www.amazon.com/ineo-Dual-Bay-Offline-Duplicate-T3527-VIII/dp/B073W4YDFQ/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1539251560&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=drive+dock&psc=1 I alredy have one and have done the same thing succesfully on a windows machine, but its a mac, and im afraid it wont work or he will lose his data. Anyone knows if this would work? thanks in advice
