  1. It's not the drive, it's the software and fixed function compression/decompression hardware that enables more direct I/O between storage and video memory.
  2. Yeah, you should focus more on the There are a lot of things this does not include, like political alignment, criminal history etc. They are being intentionally specific and it's not inclusive.
  3. Currently using a Dell AT101 in DVORAK(In dire need of new caps. YU NO ALPS peeps?) and a Mionix Avior 7000
  4. Looks interesting. Maybe I don't need posters to decorate my white walls. I've wanted a projector for a while now, yet never had the money or justification to afford one. Only thing I miss in this thing is UHD. If I'm getting 100", I'd want the pixels to be somewhat bearably large.
  5. Name: Bummer CPU: i5-4690K GPU: R9 290 RAM: 2x4GiB DDR3 Score: 6.4 | Ready | 8630 frames NEW: 7.3 | Ready | 8789
  6. There will probably be, but I find those to be dishonest since the game developer can bring in those improvements. They can help code the game, but they shouldn't replace game code in drivers. Most crashes on Nvidia hardware these days are probably related to aggressive "optimisations" which introduce bugs(I've had my fair share of game crashes on my laptop) Also important to note: most current games are designed around a maximum amount of draw calls. This means porting them to DX12/Vulkan would not benefit them that much if at all, since those draw calls simply don't occur. Exception would be Assassin's Creed Unity, that unoptimised piece of crap. And DX12/Vulkan don't just bring less driver overhead to the table, there can be other ways to improve performance if you have a lower level API (example would be Carmack's inverse square root) Cheers.
  7. A lot of people keep saying "drivers will fix it", could you add the section where it says the game developer is basically writing the driver so driver updates are no longer required? Too many people keep saying this, all AMD/Nvidia can do with DX12 drivers is implement the API better. They no longer need to write game specific drivers.
  8. Funny that you say this: I could hear it with his music playing. Probably depends on the person though.
  9. Call it nit-picky but this is a $600 phone. We all know the phone lacks in more parts of its hardware yet a small thing like this could completely ruin the phone for someone.
  10. With these issues I recommend getting Windows 8 for cheap on reddit and install Classicshell from ninite. I have Windows 10 issues too(Tomb Raider II won't work ) But I think most issues will be resolved eventually. But for performance I would at least not go back to 7.
  11. Like the title says. This guy on YouTube found out his iPhone 6S has interference in the audio with efficient IEMs when navigating with his phone. This is a new issue to iPhones as he compares it to a 5S here: Apple made a beginner's mistake to not shield and route the audio circuit properly, which is a bad joke when talking about a $600 smartphone.
  12. Probably Windows 10. Lots of stuff stopped working on Win 10. I currently need to play Tomb Raider II in a virtual machine because of the mess.
  13. Unless you have an open air case, those are the temps that I would expect for that card. If it's under 85 degrees, it should be fine.
  14. Well, there's reviews there(in Dutch) and scores for a handful of laptops. (of course) the macbooks are on top because of some reason and HP also got some fanbase which I never heard of before or their product is legit. (this one: http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/436748/hp-spectre-x360-4031nd.html only has 5 star reviews including one from Tweakers' staff) Don't know it though so I don't recommend it.
  15. Have you tried searching on this website? http://tweakers.net/categorie/496/laptops/producten/ Je bent Nederlands, toch? (don't ban me, it asks whether he is Dutch in Dutch. Which is actually obvious according to his location)
