    Most Z97 boards are the same, so just pick one that's available with the color scheme you like. Any ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte or ASRock will do. Relevant LTT video:

    $300? I'd do Z97-E ($110 USD) and an RM650 ($120). Little extra budget for other stuff.

    If your router has the option, check under Advanced Wireless options to make sure 'AP Isolated' is off for both 2.4 and 5GHz.
