Okay you guys have no idea what happened. Phantomlord was SWATed. Basically, someone made a fake 911 call to his address about a hostage situation. That is how the police became involved. Not related to the NSA at all. It is unknown at this point whether he was swatted by someone in the Derp group or someone else who managed to dox him. -

They are all in the same price range. Doesn't really matter honestly. Stick with the 1600mhz though. Best performance for your buck.

Apple makes quality devices. I find this hard to believe, however, due to the fact that they also mark up their products significantly. -

No. Try putting the graphics card in a different PCI slot and report back.

How is the RAM placed in your mobo?

Try different input/output combinations. Like VGA/DVI/HDMI. If none of them work, then it could be an issue with either your monitor or graphics card. Try the PC with another monitor. If it works, then it is a monitor issue. If it still doesn't work, It's a PC Issue. Look into the BIOS tips previously posted. RMAing your card should be last resort.

Most of their updates actually minimally increase the performance and stability of your system. If they don't, as FloRolf said, they will improve the security.
