  1. Here's what I learned from the video: Difficult to set up Can't cut grass over 3 inches Requires you to mow the grass with a regular lawn mower before using Can't cut grass on a slope Can't cut over "bumpy" ground (on what looked like pretty smooth ground) Stopped by a small stick Can't mow close to the edges Leaves lines where it clearly missed cutting Tiny 10" cutting deck (Despite what Linus said in the video 10" is not big for a mower cutter deck. The smallest I could find searching hardware stores were mowers with 30cm/12" decks, with some as wide as 53cm/21") Requires a charging pad and antenna in the yard The map breaks if you move the antenna base Still requires you to empty it and trim all the areas it missed Costs more than 10 times as much as a regular cordless lawn mower It's hard to believe this was a sponsored video when it made it look so much worse than a regular lawn mower. I guess LTT can only work with what they're given. For the $3600 USD price tag (for the kit shown in the video) I would rather pay a local kid (or my own kid if I had one) $20 to mow the lawn every fortnight for the next 7 years. Are the batteries replaceable? It wasn't shown in the video but it doesn't look like it has (easily) removable batteries. A lot of cordless mowers use the same batteries as other power tools so they could be easily swapped out, replaced, or used in other tools. The batteries will wear out eventually, especially if its run on a regular basis like Linus recommended in the video or if it's stored outside in varying temperatures and weather. Would be good to know if you can just swap the batteries out in 5 years time if needed. EcoFlow advertises on their website "Replacements instead of repairing" as if that's a good thing.
  2. Well, yes, actually. The +2 pin connector on the 8 pin is just for the sense wires that when closed signal the graphics card that the cable is capable of providing up to 150w. It looks like it's actually using 3x 12V wires on the 6 pin cable which is good (PCIe 6 pin cable actually only requires 2 but everyone uses 3). Assuming the 6 pin PCIe cable uses the same gauge wire as the 8 pin it should be fine. I'd say it's better than a 6pin to 8pin adapter because those add more resistance to the cable and the extra connections add additional failure points (poorly seated pin, etc). But... that OCZ power supply is really old. Time to replace it. "if you can afford a $600 graphics card you can afford a new power supply"

  5. I didn't think I needed a new PC until Linus described 7th gen as obsolete ewaste. The porn acting pretending like the windows desktop was unusable on an i5 7400 was a bit much.
  6. I think you're looking for the Rate the Photo Above you thread in the Photography section.

    The AliExpress seller said 30cm...

Damn, you got some huge hands.
  8. There was a guy that ran a website that pulled transcripts from videos and made the subtitles searchable who was able to generate a list of Youtube channels (of those that he tracks) that were hacked in a week, and it was hundreds of channels. Linus discussed it on the WAN show. 46:30 mark.
  9. I doubt Keychron is trying to log in to your paypal account... In the alert sent by Paypal did it say if the login successful or unsuccessful? It could have been you when you logged in to the account to get the information they requested. Location information based on IP address is not accurate at a local level. Even if you live a few hours away from Berlin it might still be reporting as Berlin. My IP address reports a location over 500km away from where I am. Did it show the IP address of the login attempt? How do you know it was a VPN/proxy? As for requesting you to go through the steps to confirm the order, I personally just wouldn't bother and would let them cancel the order. Too much effort. If they don't want your money there's a dozen other stores that will take it.

  11. Try with the CXM and see if it solves the issues you're having with the G3. If it solves the problem then you know it was a problem with the power supply, then you can choose to either keep using the CXM or buy the G6. If it doesn't solve the problem then you know not to buy the G6.
  12. Threads merged. Please do not make new topics with the same question. Some 1050Ti's do not need extra power. Yours does. In the photos you posted you can see the 6pin power connector on the right of the graphics card. Why is there a fan on your fan?
  13. This. Make sure the power outlet the computer is plugged in to is grounded.
  14. 750W would be more than enough for that system. Looking at around 225-250W for the 6700XT and another 100-125W for the Ryzen 3800XT. The Corsair CXM isn't a high end unit, it's one of their budget oriented models. It'll work but if you're looking to buy a new PSU there's probably better stuff available. The RM750e is only $10 more. EVGA G3 550W should be able to run the system. What problems are you having with it?
  15. Seems like a reasonable price to me. The PC built new today including monitor would be around $2600-$2700 CAD.

What do you mean? The forum has always had the smoothest of fonts.

Does anyone know if its possible to create tabl…

Tables are not a feature of the editor, but if you create a table elsewhere and paste it in it should work* *to some extent
  18. Find a clean area to work Get a bucket of warm soapy water Go to ebay and buy another card Throw that mangled wreck in the trash Really not much point trying to salvage that. But if you really want to then take the cooler off and wash the whole thing in warm soapy water with a soft brush. Let it dry thoroughly before repasting the cooler.
  19. That'll be a scam. The Amazon seller page is WNUEJFZDVS-US Business Name: yangxinxianligemengbaihuodian The seller only has 3 reviews, 1 of them negative. The other 2 reviews appear to be for some clothing item. Doesn't seem legit. LTT has done a video on this but basically the scammers will just create new businesses and amazon seller accounts with random letters.
  20. Judging by when it was released it'll be ATX 2.4. MSI doesn't list what revision it is on their website.
  21. That will be because it's a 230V input only version. Won't work in countries like America that use 110-120V power. Is the fan spinning or not? The fan doesn't spin in standby mode. It will need to be turned on by the motherboard or bridging the power on pin to ground to trick it to turn on. Depending on the model of power supply it may have a semi-passive fan which doesn't spin at low load.
  22. If you actually bought an ATX 2.0 spec power supply then that would have been a mistake. ATX 2.0 power supplies came out 20 years ago and there have been multiple revisions to the ATX spec since then. Though I'm assuming you're just referring to any power supply that isn't 3.0 as being 2.0. (Jayz2cents viewer?) Your power supply is probably compliant with ATX 2.51 or 2.53. Maybe 2.4 if it's an older model but I don't think MSI has any older power supplies - they're fairly new to power supplies. You didn't give the model of power supply so I can't tell you which ATX revision it's conforming to. The PSU manual might list it. To answer your question; no you're probably not missing much by not having an ATX 3.0 power supply. I'm sure your power supply will last you many more years.
  23. Thread locked. We're not going to help you create a bunch of fake profiles on Facebook or dating sites.
  24. I don't think the point would have been to find a way to cool 2000W worth of heat, but just to test the manufacturers claims about this product. There's probably a dozen better ways to dissipate 2000W of heat. Edit: My mistake, I completely misread your post and thought you were talking about immersion cooling - not ways to generate the heat load. Just woke up. That was the joke.
