No, while still not perfect, Ryzen Memory compatibility is in a MUCH better space than it use to be. B-die was really only necessary when 1st gen Ryzen came out and there was a TON of memory issues and it was determined by the community somewhere that B-dies behaved the best and had the best success in stability on the platform. Now a days, thats really not as much of a necessary thing on Ryzen. And on that subject, the B-die chips are being retired, or are, and replaced by a new die.

You will see no real difference in gaming performance, maybe 1 or 2 fps at most. Not worth the extra $90. You can likely tighten the timings on the CL16 kit to 15 or 14 as well with manual tuning.

I wasn't aiming at it you per say, but miners in general. This whole crypto currency, to me, is a waste of resources. The amount of power being used to mine virtual currency is such a waste.

It annoys me that it's as popular as it is. It's people jumping on a free money fad rather than working or providing a service to earn in (yes I am a grumpy old man).

Some people need video cards for work and research, outside of gaming and mining. But these inflated pricing can break alot of smaller companies budgets.

He is not talking about himself, he is talking about the industry as a whole.
Yet he gets a good amount of them for free.  Hell, he can write the purchases off of his taxes since they are a business expense.
While he has a lot of GPUs, he doesn't have enough to even put a dent in the problem.  Do you have a solution?  I would love to hear it.
Also, how can you not see GPU prices more then doubling be a potential issue?
    Charming.
You are not causing a significant harm, but you are contributing to the problem.
I have purchased a 1080 some time ago, so this doesn't affect me directly.
I have no issue with cryptocurrency, as long as it doesn't harm other industries.

To be frank, I find the whole situation kinda depressing.
