CPU-nudity.

All those grooves where the lots of little pieces are put together would drive me insane. If I ever had need of a really costum desk I'd rather just pay someone to build it to specs and not have to compromise like that. I can't imagine very many people would have need of the option to play lego with their office desk anyway, once it's set up the way they want it most people would leave it alone.

People actually do that? If I'd kept the packaging for all my machines I'd be drowning in boxes. I guess it's easier to find space for old cardboard if it's only one box.

If there was a payment option that worked for me I would have gotten Floatplane long ago, but as it is I don't have much choice except to wait and see what the price will be when it finally does become possible.

Mythbusters without Adam and Jamie is just not Mythbusters to me. In recent years I've even been skipping past the parts with Grant, Tory & Kari and effectively only watching half the show, because for some reason those 3 just seemed to half-ass their way thru everything. So, to me at least, this new season sounds about as exciting as wet socks.

Well, you can't force him, unfortunately. All you can do then is get yourself someplace safe and let your mom know what's going on if she doesn't already.

I think you are definitely right and you might want to seriously think about getting out of there for a while. This sounds like it could potentially become a dangerous situation. Is there any kind of adult your dad might actually listen to about getting help, a family member perhaps? Don't try to handle this yourself, get someone to help. He needs a professional. These wild accusations towards your mother and his irrational behavior suggests some kind of break and if it's been going on that long then chances are it'll only get worse the longer it goes untreated. Language barrier aside, I deal with stuff like this professionally, and while I definitely wouldn't even attempt to make any kind of diagnosis based on a few lines of text, there are enough warning signs here that I would very seriously suggest seeking help as soon as possible.

Pffft. Anything built after '77 is a toy. Bit of a sidetrack tho...

If you don't know exactly what you want or how to put it together and you don't have someone to help you, go with a prebuilt you like. If you have specific wishes and aren't afraid to do a bit of assembly, build it yourself and get it exactly the way you want down to the last tiny little detail (that you can afford of course).

Well, if it's legit then they'd be well within their rights to protect their content. If I had to guess I'd say probably something from Floatplane that's not scheduled for release elsewhere yet. And if the guy is just lying to get attention, then congrats you gave it, but it's not exactly the kind of thing he should be proud of. So... Meh.
