Hey all, I kind of fell off the PC-building bandwagon a while back but it's time for me to do a new build, since my stuff is getting up there a bit age-wise, and it's time to replace it. My budget is $1800 US, can go up to $2000 if need be. Needs will be general gaming (1440p ultrawide) and GIS, which has a similar workload profile to rendering although is a bit more CPU-intensive. I'm also looking for a smaller form factor; mATX would be ideal, probably, though if all of my stuff can fit on an ITX board that would also work. I've also got some parts I can definitely still reuse. These are:
4x8GB 3200MhZ Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM
EVGA G2 850W with custom cables
Samsung 970 Pro 250GB, 2x Crucial MX500 1TB SATA drives
More fans than any reasonable person should have
I can reuse any other parts in my signature as well
Other special requirements: I do need to be able to use wifi - I already have a PCIe wifi card, but if I do go ITX it'd need to have that. I also really need at least 33GB of RAM and 2TB of SSD storage for GIS stuff, though I don't care about speed so long as it's a decent SSD (i.e. gen 4 not a priority). Also, I'd like to keep to a black and white theme.
Cheers
Abby
