  1. It's the strategy that AMD's GPU division did with relative success for a number of years, so yk
  2. For 200 US range, neither of those, look at a 1070 or something
  3. Sketchy but I guess it works. GG.
  4. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/r6DzK8/thermaltake-core-p3-snow-edition-atx-mid-tower-case-ca-1g4-00m6wn-05 The Thermaltake p3 is probably the most similar consumer case to what you want
  5. Something exciting came today! PowerColor 6800XT Red Dragon! My first Team Red GPU, and a heck of an upgrade from a 1080 Ti
  6. Why on earth would you go dual 3090 Ti? But it definitely should be. As above said as well, checking the circuit that's gonna be on might be a good idea because yike
  7. It depends on your setup and case
  8. Sounds to me like you need more fans in your case
  9. Hey all, just want to make sure that there's not any greivous error here. US, budget ~$1800, gaming and a bit of light rendering-type work. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mmhKXy
  10. The SSDs I have are fine, but I really do need 32GB of RAM so I would need to get 16GB sticks on an ITX board
  11. Hey all, I kind of fell off the PC-building bandwagon a while back but it's time for me to do a new build, since my stuff is getting up there a bit age-wise, and it's time to replace it. My budget is $1800 US, can go up to $2000 if need be. Needs will be general gaming (1440p ultrawide) and GIS, which has a similar workload profile to rendering although is a bit more CPU-intensive. I'm also looking for a smaller form factor; mATX would be ideal, probably, though if all of my stuff can fit on an ITX board that would also work. I've also got some parts I can definitely still reuse. These are: 4x8GB 3200MhZ Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM EVGA G2 850W with custom cables Samsung 970 Pro 250GB, 2x Crucial MX500 1TB SATA drives More fans than any reasonable person should have I can reuse any other parts in my signature as well Other special requirements: I do need to be able to use wifi - I already have a PCIe wifi card, but if I do go ITX it'd need to have that. I also really need at least 33GB of RAM and 2TB of SSD storage for GIS stuff, though I don't care about speed so long as it's a decent SSD (i.e. gen 4 not a priority). Also, I'd like to keep to a black and white theme. Cheers Abby
  12. The US actually has lower income inequality before taxes by some measures, the Europeans are just better at redistributing it
  13. Lol yeah, I'm an iPad stan through and through but there are times when you just don't need the features
  14. This is actually really impressive, obviously not perfect but it is limited by Youtube fuckery. Kudos to ThioJoe.
  15. banned for not using the space bar
  16. For $50? I don't think anything good is gonna be at that price
