  1. Hi! I have had my trackpad stuck on a Lenovo Ideadpad 320s at least a day by now and it is making me mad. The problem is that the right side of it goes down when pressed as usual and makes the "click" sound as well. However, the left side is completely jammed and when I put pressure on it feels like something is in the way. I have tried lifting it up a bit using some staplers with no luck. Any one with any ideas on how to fix it? I tend to have the issue when I take it out of the backpack, but have always fixed it by pushing the pad in different directions to loosen what ever is keeping it from pushing down completely.

  3. So, I´ve had my Lenovo Ideapad 320s for quite a while now and it has not been a smooth ride, to say the least, but after having sent in in several times it started to work. However, just a couple of weeks ago I noticed that the computer would become incredibly hot during normal usages such as with a couple of chrome and word tabs. I did some troubleshooting and tired things such as cleaning out debris and undervolting (as it was the physical location of the CPU that became hot) but to no success. After this, I took the back panel off to clean of the fans and intakes but found these were pretty much cleaned and could not have caused such a spike in temperatures. Based on this, I am seriously considering if it might be that the CPU paste has dried out and therefore needs to be replacing. However, my knowledge with laptops is severely limited in terms of with desktops as this was the very first laptop I´ve ever opened. Therefore I wonder if you guys have any ideas on what to do in this situation and if it´s even worth repasting myself? (Just a quick side note, I have built my own desktop and do have some ESD equipment (mat, "connectors" and wristband) to avoid chocks.)
  4. Hi! I´ve been having this problem for quite a while now where my mouse and other USB devices disconnected randomly. The thing is I am currently using a USB hub for a couple of other things such as a USB cam, SD reader and such. The mouse and keyboard are however connected directly to the motherboard, but when i connect the USB hub the mouse and everything else starts to disconnect randomly. Right now I'm using the mouse and keyboard directly plugged into the motherboard but for cable management reasons I would like to get the hub working. So does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
  5. Hi! Im currently using a virtual audio board and therefor have placed my default microphone as its output device in order to recieve the audio into the program, however I currently have a CMD program running which puts a cap on how much Microsoft is allowed to gain main physcial microphone. My problem right now is that I dont know the technical name in order to refer to my physcial microphone anymore in order to keep the gain capped. Anyone got any solutions to this?
  6. Ah okay, either way I havent even come across that software anytime. But the good this is its still within 1 year warrenty so I should be able to get it replaced for free.
  7. Never touched the bios settings, just the windows ones but never came across a setting which limited the maximum charge.
  8. Hi! So my laptop battery is complete shit, ever since i bought it i`ve only been able to get out around 1,2 hours out of it before having to charge again. However I recently contacted Lenovo support and got the response that BIOS settings and a system reset would solve the thing. But the thing is I´ve ran two battery diagnostics on the battery and I´ve got the following stats: Can there in anyway be a software issue that i only get 30% of the battery?
  9. Also, Lenovo support is claiming that a BIOS power mangement option should influence this? Is that true or is this a true hardware failure?
  10. Is it time to change my battery? Got a Lenovo Ideapad 320s from 2018/17, the battery has been shit for long but didnt know it was this bad.
