  2. Pre-ordered one from Computerlounge. Yes it maybe a TN panel, but I don't really care for an IPS panel. I am not a professional, I don't rely on accurate colours, the "Viewing angle" is just fine. I look at my monitor dead on anyway. The screen real estate is what I'm looking for. Plus if I decide to run some games, TN panels have a greater response time.
  3. I would recommend the Audio Technica ATH-ADG1 or the AG1 (Closed variant) Pros: They're light. Have excellent angled open air/closed 53mm drivers. The mic is nice and clear (for what it is). Cons: Price. Doesn't have that initial punch for low frequencies The 3D-Wing support doesn't fit everyone
  4. I would recommend the Audio Technica ATH-ADG1 or the AG1 (Closed variant) Pros: They're light. Have excellent angled open air/closed 53mm drivers. Have a good mic (for what it is). Cons: Price. Doesn't have that initial punch for low frequencies The 3D-Wing support doesn't fit everyone.
  5. Watch Linus and Slick on the live stream. 1.5-3 hour weeks is pretty awesome.
  6. Well once you built your operating system and it's ready to go. You can use a Windows PE (Windows Pre-environment) with imagex.exe and capture the PC's image. Which you can then deploy to the PCs WindowsPE. There are some great tutorials on YouTube with easy steps to get this done.
  7. Hm, I think my X79 is in need for a CPU update. To quote Jeremy Clarkson "Power"
  8. The last Samsung product I will purchase is the 840 Pro SSD.
  9. I've always recommended running Malbytes Antimalware and have heard some good results. http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/
  10. Origin do make some really nice PCs and do a very good job on the looks. Well for newer titles that we'll see in the future, the Titan's 6GB VRAM will become very useful Triple monitor. Such as Crysis 3 for example. It's requires an uber amount of graphics horse power to run max out on 5760*1080. I would go for it. There is no such thing as overkill. And don't sell your soul to the devil in the future :P You'll turn into a flaming skeleton.
  11. Same as the HD800's. They are a plastic construction but it makes sense. Sennheiser's goal was for them to be light and comfortable, which I find them to do it just right. But the sound does make up for the $1500 UDS / $2300 NZ Price tag.
  12. Ivy Bridge-E might be my next processor. Thanks for the post GoodBytes!
  13. Might have an Apple Logo, but you then know quality construction rather than plastic and other cheap material.

    Analog Or Usb?

I prefer Analog. Much more flexibility
  15. The 660Ti is popular if your on a budget. The test clearly shows an "average gamers" build. Both the Intel and AMD are similarly price. Why would you use a Titan for a average gamers build? Make no sense.
  16. Sploosh. Fast, responsive. Better for people around the world. Like me.
  17. Ouch. But in all honesty, you'll need a new one. Letting it dry out would do little to nothing to help as it had been running at the time to Pepsi was spilled.
  18. Both are really good boards. You can't go wrong.
  19. Mainstream Intel Platforms use 16 PCI-E Lanes. You can get Quad SLI boards the use PLX Chips, with is basically virtual lanes, which is still bottlenecked. PLX add lanes, it's not a PCIe Controller, that's still on the CPU and is limited to 16 Lanes. Intel X79 have 40 PICe lanes, meaning you can run 16*8*8*8 GPU's. Correct me if I'm wrong about the PLX chip. I'm always open to know more.
  20. Along with nVidia cards over the years, from the GTX 400 - GTX 500 series there was a slight architecture tweak, so there was about a 10-15 performance boost and about a 10-15% drop in energy and heat consumption. It's probably going to be the same. About a 10-15% performance boost and maybe 10-15% drop of power usage.
  21. From wha't I've read, your Maximus V Gene comes with the .CAP BIOS out of the Box, and that it only requires X79 Users to use the .ROM to .CAP converter.
  22. Wow. $250 is a steal for a GTX 680! Are you planning to get an aftermarket cooler for your CPU? Pretty Illogical if your not going to overclock a overclock-able CPU.
