  1. Ah the snow flakes have conquered another territory. To sum up the rules. If you are a small time nobody and you don't make Twitch money, then you will be banned if you say or do anything that pisses them off, hey they'll probably ban you because they can. If you're a big shot that makes Twitch money, then you won't be banned regardless of what you say or do. And if by any chance you do get banned, it won't be for long.
  2. It doesn't matter if they don't operate in that state. When an agency of the government or a goverment comes to you with two options, you always pick the option that doesn't directly screw you. In this case Newegg picked to give them the info rather than pay a lot of money themselves.
  3. This is how it went down: DRS: Hey give us all the info or pay this ridiculously large fine. Newegg: Ok, here's all the info on everyone. Have a nice day.
  4. It's the number of DRAM chips it has on it. One has 4, one has 8. I'm not sure if this is still the case now, but before some motherboards didn't boot at all when if you populated all dimms with memory that had 8 DRAM chips on it. It was rare as far as I know. That was back in the 775 days. Check your motherboard to see if it has a note on single rank and dual rank.
  5. Did you notice what was written above it?
  6. When I read Potus, I thought it was going to be Obama. And I thought that would be interesting. Then I remembered who Potus is now. And oh boy.
  7. Well sayonara new PC, sayonara. Console here I come. I think I'm going to change my username to "NintendoXbonesPS4" if this goes on.
  8. Not much to see here. At least they acknowledged the test was flawed.
  9. It's always recommended to reinstall the OS whenever you change the platform, so I say reinstall it. Now if you really want Win7, you can either find a tool that you can download from your motherboard manufacture's website. Asus has one, Gigabyte has one. That can make Win7 installation be possible through a USB stick. Or if you have an optical drive and a Win7 disk you can bypass this whole problem entirely since Win7 on newer platforms only has this problem if you're trying to install from a USB stick. Here's a tutorial on how to make the Win7 stick:
  10. Disney doesn't care if EA lost money which by the way they actually haven't, they've gained a lot of money actually, they only care if about SW games making money which once again they have been making. Yes, people got pissed with the whole micro-transactions but those sold like crazy, once again it was just a loud minority that didn't even register on the map. Plus we don't know the technicalities of the contract between Disney and EA, but based on how these things work, Disney are the ones that are going to lose a lot of money if they break the contract before it expires. Something they are never going to do. The only thing that they can do and it seems like that's what they want, is to make SW games in house, thus it doesn't break the contract. Remember EA has an exclusive deal with Disney for making SW games, meaning that Disney can't go to a third party studio or publisher for a SW game, however they can make it themselves because they are the ones that hold the license. Also EA doesn't want to make SW games? Yeah right. They were the ones that bid for it the most.
  11. Yes this is normal because "gaming chairs" aren't meant to hold your back correctly. Gaming chairs are just racing seats with the word gaming name added in order to sell to fools. I'm sorry to say that, but it's the truth. Racing seats are done that way to hold the driver in the seat as best as possible for racing g-forces. Get rid of that stupid "gaming" chair and go get yourself a proper office chair. If you can't afford one of the expensive ones that are really good, then look at something like the Markus from Ikea that someone above mentioned. That chair holds your back and your head right. And stop believing Youtubers with their sponsored gaming chairs. They are paid to kiss the ass of these companies, they're not paid to make people's lives better.
  12. Yeah right. Why are people falling for this? It's not going to get 17% more performance whether it's single or multicore. At best it's going to be maybe 5% faster, maybe.
  13. Well that's one way of making sure that you never forget to install the standoffs. You have install them into the case then put the motherboard then the normal screws. Now for how to get them out, grab a set a pliers or if it's not too tight (ladies ) you can unscrew them with your hands. So hold the standoffs with your hand or pliers and use a screwdriver on the screw to well unscrew it.
  14. I get what you're saying, but first of all that's their problem since mining is a gambling venture plus they shouldn't have bought gaming cards in the first place and secondly I also come in from the perspective of a consumer. Let's say I was searching the second hand market for a used card, personally I wouldn't buy a mid range or high end from this generation or the even the previous one for AMD, unless the seller was selling it for dirt cheap. And that's because I know that I'm not buying a card that I intend to use, I'm just wasting money. I'm taking a gamble with a card that I know it's been fucked for months running 24/7 beyond specs at the highest temperature possible. A card that I have no idea if it's going to last me one week or one hour. Maybe I'm really lucky and it will work for a couple of months. So even if the mining cards if Nvidia will indeed make them put a strain on the used market, the miners already did/will do. I'll be looking towards a new card and I say I'm not alone. If Nvidia will release mining cards and of course price them right for their performance so the miners will get them instead of gaming cards, and then Nvidia has different cards for us gamers then it's a win-win situation for them. Since the miners will get their mining cards while us gamers will get our gaming cards. While the used market for this generation becomes a gamble. The used market always was a gamble since you have no idea what you're buying won't break after a short period of time, but now the risks will be even higher. I do have to agree with you on this isn't really the solution. But something has to be done. And if this is what Nvidia came up with, it's their mess to sort out if it doesn't work.
  15. It has a wifi card installed like a laptop, you can see it behind the red usb ports. You can see it in the third picture on Gigabyte's website or:
  16. Neither AMD or Nvidia care if the people who buy the cards can resell them later on. Actually it would be better for them since the consumer will have to buy brand new from them. So making cards that can't be sold is a plus for them. Any company on this planet wants the consumer to buy new, never used.
