Why no free to plays? Firefall and Planetside are very fun, just cause the game is f2p there are still options to buy stuff in most f2p's. ARK : SURVIVAL EVOLVED is pretty good (not f2p).

Depends some games are very core heavy and if you have 8 cores but they are weak then it will hurt it especially for games not optimized to use more than 2 cores, etc. You won't run into this problem on Intel but maybe with AMD. -

Not really a hoarder, the only things I'd have on the pc would be games,schoolwork and google. Would that be ok for the SSD route?

My concern is that with BF4+DLC's and GTA V and LoL and Hearthstone and CS:GO thats already like 200 gb's *EDIT* not to mention OS
