This is a rescued cat from an abusive owner.
The woman who owned this cat had a child who threw her kittens and pulled her tail. Apparently if the cat ever retaliated by growling or scratching, she would get beaten by the kid's mother.
Her boyfriend finally had enough and contacted us, we then went and took the cat. No vet records or anything. She's physically healthy, but has severe PTSD, most cats aren't allowed in my room, but she's allowed to come hang out with me so I can work on her behavior.
She's currently relaxed.
Her kittens were all adopted out, they falsly claimed that she was a pure Himalayan, while the father was a pure Persian, even though she was knocked up by some random tom, and her babies looked more like American shorthairs. Just an all around nasty person she was. We still have one baby, he's much better then his mother when it comes to behavior issues.

@_StrikE_ She has already improved a lot behavior wise, she may always have some PTSD symptoms, but it can be minimized.
The kid was around 2, so a toddler. My opinion is that if toddler hurts animal, animal bites/scratches toddler, then toddler knows not to do it, no one should get in trouble, the toddler learned his lesson, and the animal was defending herself.
But this is coming from someone who let an 8 year old girl swing around an actual katana, so what do I know.
