  1. Then it does. @Jeskspie. Probably not degree of "sad excuse", different question.
  2. Pirated content means ripping off the og creator's profit. Would you explain how archive.org does that?
  3. there are B550 boards that withed with Zen+ APUs like the 3400G during launch even if they are not listed in CPU support table, not sure if this has changed since this was never an offical thing to begin with. But the B550M-A has no redeeming features over B450 boards aside from PCIe 4 which you dont get with the 3400G and honestly, only needed with high end cards which buyers of low end boards like this wouldnt be able to afford. Just get a B450 board.
  4. Problem is that's not how RAM works. Windows has no control over flex mode (i.e. single and dual channel depending on empty capacity left on each channel) so the only way for bandwidth to be cut down despite staying below 16GB is for background tasks to hog the bandwidth Check cached RAM and hardware reserved RAM too, those count towards the first 16GB even if task manager doesn't make it clear
  5. Facebook has more scams than ebay...
  6. Single M.2 slot B560 boards do not have PCIe bifurcation, 11th gen gets dedicated lanes from the CPU to an M.2 slot. Even more M.2 slots are not indicative, you can have M.2 connected to the chipset as well. There's this from Asus https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1037507/ but other brands seem to require looking up each board's own manual.
  7. oof cant fit full height PCIe cards inside. Those either hang outside or you have to use low profile cards which are more expensive and rare.
  8. High RAM usage typically comes from a lot of background tasks, end some of those? You could use task manager to see what's hogging all that RAM
  9. ROG Strix is not proper ROG, you dont get extreme tweaker. Asus: you're not worthy you pleb
  10. If the CPU does not support AVX instruction set (Intel starts with 2nd gen, AMD starts with FX but FX are bad for different reasons), it's no good for triple A games no matter how low you can go with visual quality. Unless you go for old games that came before AVX support became standard, so before 2008.
  11. 6.0 and 6.2 both larger than 5.8. Your BIOS is not new enough. Bent pins arent detrimental, you can bend them back. Otherwise you'll need an older Ryzen CPU (those supported by 5.8 or before) to do the BIOS update.
  12. you cant, that's hard wired. If they dont give you a physical switch to change between iGPU and dGPU there's nothing you could do.
  13. without optimus the dGPU will run 24/7 and battery life turns terrible. It's also an Nvidia tech
  14. If you can afford a 12900k to begin with means 4000 CL18 shouldnt break the bank, it's not a bad choice. There could be better bins at similar prices (especially if you dont need RGB), say 4000 19-19-19-39 or Crucial's 18-19-19-39, even 4266 CL19
  15. BIOS version F40 or later is needed... As stated by the CPU support list
  16. It's written below. The CPU support list is in order of Ryzen 9, Ryzen 7, Ryzen 5 and so on
  17. Problem is it's not even a price hike, 3050Ti is cheaper than 3050 on my screen so I couldnt comment on this properly. What I can tell him is that Ti does not relate to extra features, just performance so benchmarks will tell all there is to know. More performance and more features are not the same, I see you're already falling into that hole. How it's done isnt so important.
  18. Ti is not something added to the original one, it's outright a different GPU. Dont compare them like K or non K on Intel CPUs
  19. You can give 4000 a try, but if it doesnt work you need to lower it. It can run over 4000MHz by a lot, but that's at 1:2 mode (halved memory controller frequency) which is bad for performance.
  20. Worth adding extra 8GB DDR4 stick and 2.5" SATA SSD as boot drive, but CPU and GPU are not worth upgrading. i7 7700 costs too much for just a 4 core 8 thread CPU, GPUs worth upgrading are will need a new PSU which as prebuilts go are not easily upgradable.
  21. i9 8900 does not exist. i7 8700? or i9 9900?
