  1. So LTT had recently pulled the trigger on 18:9 aspect ratio and Linus said that they are not reverting back to 16:9, with the reason "most viewers are on mobile". Well, I in opinion, although most viewers are on mobile, not everybody have wide aspect ratio screen, and the wide aspect ration on mobile vary from 18:9 to 21:9, so most people will still get ugly top and bottom bars like in 16:9. What I would suggest is switch back to 16:9 aspect ratio BUT have an invisible frame for 18:9 aspect ratio while editing. For example, if you are showing benchmark on a 16:9 video, make sure that the benchmark is 18:9 in the center. In this case, viewers on wide screen mobile devices can make use of the "pinch to zoom" function in Youtube app to remove the blackbars while not having information cut outs and 16:9 viewers can watch a video without black bars.
  2. Clickbait works well huh? Cant you just freaking put the product name into the title like "Chinese Chromecast killer - Mi Box S Review"? Am I accually concern about how ltt clickbait. Other clickbait media like Bright Side and 5 Minutes Craft at least get their clickbait right and get millions of views but Ltt's clickbait accually prevents potential new viewers from finding their video, even their own subscribers. (If you cant underdtand my screenshot: I subscribed to ltt but when i search "Mi box s" review, it didnt show me their video cuz of their misleading and completely out of topic title. I am not hating on the clickbait as linus explained it during the latest honest answer but I am just disappointed that they didnt spend the extra step of try to search up their video to make sure that their clickbait accually works, just simply putting the product name into the title could've works)
  3. Agree, i would prefer "Troubleshooting 6 editor 1cpu - part2 ". I seriously dont know clickbait these days....."I almost cried", how would a random dude click on a video showing up on recommendation hoping to see another dude crying but to found out that its a tech troubleshooting and get addicted and hence.became a subscriber. Wouldn't it be more sensible that a random dude like the concept of tech troubleshooting and saw a video called "Toubleshooting 6editor 1 cpu-part2" and click on it, found it interesting and became a subscriber?
  4. Tear it down like all other cool projects like 7gamer 1cpu. Just a prove of concept of what current hardwares can do through virtualization.
  5. Chill bro, why u sounds so salty? Do you mean that the asus motherboard with dual socket isnt designed to fit 6 graphic cards? Do you mean the motherboard is not designed to run Unraid? Do you mean the graphic cards are not designed to run on pcie extender? If so why the board have so many pcie slot? Why the motherboard have a usb port? Why pcie extender are even manufacturered? Or you just salty that you cannot afford all those hardware?
  6. @Edzel Yago @dennisliao Hey, what happen to most recent tecquickie about game loading screen hosted by Coltan? The green screen was badly keyed, it looks as if a manual mask was there to remove the background instead. Techquickie usually surpris me with skilled chroma keying even when linus hair was messy but today I keep on seeing coltan have noisy border, head being cut off, linus looks like being cut off from a magazine with safety scissors....
  7. Thx for helping. Just searched internet a bit and found this: But my display is not overiding as my refresh rate is at 60hz, well under the "85hz override".... (captured on non ghosting display 1)
  8. Yes, its VGA. Is it bad cable? Or bad connector?
  9. Never heard of iiyama, will recommend stick with BenQ personally. Thou, I personally will stick with Dell or Samsung as they are very very reputable monitor brand.
  10. Hi, this old monitor I found in garage still works fine but there is a "shadow" on everything. However, the monitor OSD control panel/setting do not have this problem. The model is Philip 190B (yes, its very old, not planning to use it as primary display, just good to have another monitor on desk). Any fix? BTW, I watched the Techquickie episode about monitor detections but this problem is not mentioned.
  11. Hey, why is linus hand got cut away? I though Linus mentioned before that the new office greenscreen to much bigger than the old one hence he can swing his hand anyway he wants. Is there another office renovation and more green screen was getting cut away?
  12. I just dont like linus recommend it just for the sake that other techtuber are recommending it too (siriously, he just force something out to say its good, even the super small "track pad" and the 10fps ROTTR; any other device with a smaller trackpad than Macbook or lower fps than 60, he will label them as "hard to recommend". This device is just sucks in a whole, no matter how good the performance is, the screen is just too small, you really need to connect to another screen to use it properly, why not just spend the extra money on a laptop with a bigger screen? My money will go to the surface go. This kind of light weight, low cpu power machine are never meant to be a workstation for your to run PS or render a Blender scene "on the go". They are for entertainment like watching Netflix or writing a draft blog post on MS Word while travelling. The screen is just too small. A bigger screen version without any spec upgrade and just fill in the extra spaces with a normal trackpad will be much better and preferred. Just ppov
  13. Why Nvidia post this video? What does it means?
  14. Although this episode of sketching heatsink is more successful, the previous episode is so much professionally made in my opinion and much more enjoyable to watch, i honestly enjoy the narrative style ltt video more than recent ones.
