TIL: The 8 minute walk from the grocery store home is impossible without gloves.

 

Unless I want to experience pain greater than being repeatedly kicked in the nuts.

    Same here, my hands just can't handle the cold. How cold is it there?

    @Cyberspirit Right now it's about -28, so around -35 with the windchill. I really should have thrown on gloves yesterday, I almost threw up the pain was so great as my fingers dethawed ? Never again lol

    Geez, that's horrible. Please get some gloves next times because that does sound extremely painful.

    @Cyberspirit The worst part is my gloves were in my pocket ? But you don't really realize how badly you're frozen until it's too late.

    ....and now they're in my friends car and I won't see her for a couple days. ?

    I always put my hands in my pocket but, if it was that cold here I'd get a nice glove AND put my hands in my pockets.

    @Cyberspirit Yeah me too, but I had to carry the grocery bags. I'd already put it off for over a week, and I was so sick of eating out.
