  1. Of course. It's good enough. I thought it was amazing until I bought the IE 800 earphones a few weeks ago. The GSP is versatile, it is good enough for music too.
  2. I've never had anyone complain about the mic picking up audio but I haven't used the mic that often. From what I've experienced with the mic, it is a good mic. The 600 is closed-back and doesn't leak as much sound as the 500, I wouldn't worry about the 600's mic picking up audio. It does leak some but only at very high volume. I am not using an AMP.
  3. I own the 600. They are comfortable as hell. You gotta get the fit right though, and that will take you some time. Don't worry about comfort. As for heat, they don't get anywhere near as hot as the G4ME ZERO I owned previously. I guess though I live in the UK where every day has miserable temperatures. I haven't had any major issues with heat on the GSP 600, unlike the G4ME ZERO which was very unbearable during summer. I'll leave the other stuff up to others.
  4. You'll be fine with what you've got, don't worry. Get the 3600, don't overclock and just leave the ram as it is.
  5. Ryzen 5 3600. i5 9400f if for some reason you want to pick something on the intel side (And believe me, you don't). Ryzen 5 2600 if you want something cheap that will last a few more years.
  6. Isn't just the 4700U either. 4800H also showed up with 8c 16t. https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-rumored-to-launch-ryzen-9-4900h-ryzen-7-4800hs-and-ryzen-4600hs-mobile-cpus-soon And a month or two ago, an AMD document popped up for a few hours showing Ryzen 9 mobile. They took it down pretty quickly. So there could be a 4900H too.
  7. Cheapest 580's apart from this one in the UK are around £140 right now. This one is £125. It's even worse in the US, most 580's are $160 there. This RX 580 is as cheap as any RX 570 in the UK right now.
  8. That is absolute madness. Don't know what ASUS ate for breakfast this morning..since when are they ever generous??? Anyways, here it is. Not much stock left so get this ridiculous deal while you can. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B071NS93PH?tag=pcp0f-21&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1
  9. I am expecting them to compete actually. I just have a sneaky feeling for them. They said double the performance of Gen11 is what Gen12 will bring. Gen11 is near Vega Graphics so.. Whether that'll translate as you go up the tiers remains to be seen. But I expect them to at least be able to offer good products in the midrange to compete against so-called 'Ampere' and also Full fat Navi (RDNA 2.0). Not sure they'll top the charts, but I'm expecting them to at least be in the conversation.
  10. I had the 1050ti for my FX 9590 build too, only just upgraded a few days ago to 3900x + Radeon VII. Only reason I bought it was because the cryptocurrency situation ruled out an RX 570 for me at that time.
  11. 1050ti comes to mind but that wasn't as disastrous as the 1650 was.
  12. Oh no..you didn't. NO!!!! Another fell into the trap. You should have bought the RX 570. I feel sorry for you
  13. 3600 has no competition for gaming. That's cause the 9600k and 9400f have one big flaw which is their lack of hyperthreading, meaning they stutter in some titles, and that will only get worse as time goes on. The 3600 doesn't have those issues. So yes, at lower price points AMD can't be beaten.
  14. Uh...not looking great, at least in the UK anyways: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/amd-ryzen-9-3950x-sixteen-core-4.7ghz-socket-am4-processor-retail-cp-3bc-am.html I bought a 3900x a few days ago after waiting months for the 3950x, cause I saw threads on many different sites reporting that there was supply issues for it. Don't regret it. Used the extra money to get a new phone and a new mouse instead.
  15. If you want something to treat yourself and just splash the cash then Threadripper 3000 might be your CPU. Won't give you any extra gaming performance..but multicore performance is on another planet. It'll be launching tomorrow, so if you really have a hunger for building a new PC..I think Threadripper 3000 fills that perfectly.
  16. Yes bought from both and had no issues. They are trustworthy.
  17. I'd say there's 3 choices to consider under $200 for a Ryzen 9: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/McfFf7/asus-prime-x570-p-atx-am4-motherboard-prime-x570-p https://pcpartpicker.com/product/whMTwP/asus-tuf-gaming-x570-plus-atx-am4-motherboard-tuf-gaming-x570-plus https://pcpartpicker.com/product/nHxbt6/gigabyte-x570-aorus-elite-atx-am4-motherboard-x570-aorus-elite There's also the wifi versions of the TUF and the Elite if you need it. These boards are the 3 best in terms of VRM temps under $200. They are all great choices.
  18. From Komachi, who is a well-known leaker. When translated he says: "Renoir Mobile APU" is compatible with LPDDR4X-4266 and 12CU (13CU?) Vega Graphics, so I think it's worth the wait. The number of CPU cores will also increase.'
  19. Rubbish VRM's on the low-end x570 boards. The VRM's are garbage until you get to the UNIFY and ACE which are $300-ish. The UNIFY is good for the price if you want a board with no rgb. The ACE is okay..but VRM's get beaten out slightly by the Hero, Master etc.. And the godlike is beaten in every single aspect pretty much by the Aorus Xtreme so..
  20. Don't go 9600k cause of the lack of hyperthreading, won't be a smooth experience in the future (And in some very specific cases right now, it has stutter) 9700k is 8c 8t, 8700k is 6c 12t. They are within the same ballpark in pretty much everything. Between the 9700k and 8700k, get whichever is cheaper.
  21. Also worth checking out the Gigabyte Aorus Elite and the very impressive ASUS Prime P. But yeah, the TUF is great as well. It's all down to looks and features between these three. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/McfFf7/asus-prime-x570-p-atx-am4-motherboard-prime-x570-p https://pcpartpicker.com/product/nHxbt6/gigabyte-x570-aorus-elite-atx-am4-motherboard-x570-aorus-elite Basically the rule this year is..don't buy MSI. That's all you need to know.
  22. If you're happy with the 9700k, then you'll be happy with the R5 3600. For gaming, all you'll need is the 3600. Forget spending more on the 3800x or 9700k, the 3600 does what you want it to do just fine.
  23. Hmm..thanks MSI for leaking the 3990x! Good job. https://www.pcgamer.com/msi-seemingly-tips-amds-unannounced-64-core-threadripper-3990x-processor/
  24. A few slides were missed btw, two slides on the Athlon 3000g (Which looks great for super-low budget buyers!): Overclocked to 3.9ghz..very nice. Might just be the most intriguing part of this whole launch.
