    goes to show how AMD has really affected intel. they gave this chip a big package for the reason AMD did.

    what games are you running? bf1 for sure is a high demanding game. you need some threads with that cpu and some ram. 8 gigs is not enough breathing room.

    thats not a gaming cpu. gta 5 was tested on a high end quad core intel chip with HT. anything over that and the cores go idle or are barely used.

    what ever the equal is in a gtx 980 is in the quadro family. maybe even a gtx 970 equal card. in the quadro family.

    personally i would say yes the i5 7600k would bottleneck 2 cards in sli. in single card mode, i would say their would be a small bottleneck. the i5 7600k does not have HT to supply the extra date to the cards in sli and barely enough in single card mode for either the 1070 or t he 1080. this is just my personal belief.

    it does! im running a ryzen 5 1600. it does ALL i throw at it. HOWEVER google chrome and mozilla browsers are the only thing that can choke out my cpu. so i turned off hardware assist in the browser. i also downloaded opera browser when im multi tasking. good luck to yah.!!

    i only noticed this with the AMD Ryzen spire cooler. i was converting videos and temps hit 67-70c. so i took out my old zalman cpns 9900led. now my temps don't get any higher than 59c. i've read some review, where people will tolerate high temps for quietness. im the total opposite.

    yall are not helping the industry drop the price of ram, if you keep buying it for the bloated price tags.

    at the moment. intel has convinced the world, that anything over 4 cores is a waste. so most games only use up to 4 cores. which is why intel added hyper threading to its cpus. it gives you 8 core like performance, in a 4 core package. now intel is trying to convince programmers its time to use more than 4 cores, since the newer games are more cpu and gpu demanding.
