I broke off that retention little thingy on the PCI-e 16x of my motherboard because it was such a god damn hassle remove my video card with it, it was impossible to reach it with fingers... now removing my video card is as easy as it gets... made sure to tight that screw really good just to make sure though [:

    I never considered that, interesting idea. Then again, I've always been able to reach it so it was never too big of a deal for me haha

    Oh yes mATX board so all is tighter, with the DIMMS on the way on top and under the video card itself got in the way the only way was using the screw driver to reach it and force down which sometimes could split and hit the mobo since force had to be applied, this seemed the safer best way to go around xD

    I've got an e-atx board with 5 x16 slots, four of them have broken off locks :P

    the lock on my board just fell off one day... its a real cheap design where two halves click together to make a slider and they just gave up and split. asrock quality!
