  1. Yeah, that was pretty much my thought, but I figured I should ask and see if there would be any notable issues. Filling the bottle roughly twice a day will add up pretty quickly over time with shaking it vs just using it for water.
  2. I have a 40oz water bottle and I'm curious if there could be an issue from mixing powdered drink flavouring in the bottle? Could the shaking while full of water cause the joint at the lip to fail prematurely or is there some extra stabilizing structure between the inner section and the outside?
  3. That seems like a fairly bad move if that's the logic they used. It's like Ford going "The new F150 doesn't have a bed. Please wait for the new F350 to come out if you wish to use the bed.".
  4. It's a cash drop. They likely enter the amount of cash they are entering, drop it into the chute, and then it drops into a safe that only certain people have. It's so that managers don't need to be around to the end of the shift and the money is secure.
  5. The cable that goes from the motherboard to the front panel is generally fairly poorly shielded so you get a lot of noise from the power cables around inside the case. As others have said, get an extension and plug into the back of your computer.
  6. I'm not saying that they cheated somehow using a VPN. I'm saying that the wording makes it sound like the ban is for multiple things and they're focusing on the VPN part. However if you're running a VPN to one of your own devices, you could use it for some kind of traffic manipulation. I'm not sure how Fortnite does their aiming and everything but you could have a trigger that causes moments of intentional packet loss or delay so that you can aim for a headshot as the game waits for packets.
  7. Have you got him to send a screenshot or something for the exact wording of the ban reason? Trust but verify. At this point since he appears to have done some significant steps to keep playing, he might have also been banned for trying to circumvent the ban which will be far harder to get repealed if the original ban was just for a VPN.
  8. Yeah, now that I've got a proper server to get rid of the drives in my computer, I'm starting to contemplate getting a tempered glass case and all the bits to actually make it look nice.
  9. I think the Strix is a more effective cooler than the Armour so it should be a bit quieter.
  10. Yep. Air cooling should be fine. The Noctua air coolers are capable of keeping up with a lot of the AIO liquid coolers out there if you're looking to drop some price but keep a lot of the performance.
  11. Yep. But that fit their request.
  12. Actually, since you're looking at Volta from your other thread, why are you asking about these two?

  14. I mean if you're running stock speeds, probably. If you're planning to overclock then it should be a good option. Either way, if you can afford it in your build it does mean that you'll have decent cooling.
  15. Most likely the Ti since you can OC it to very near the performance of the 1080 but it's a fair bit cheaper.
  16. If your player has options to change your output then you could set it to output to your speakers and have system sounds going to your headphones. Otherwise most games allow you to set your output, so you could set the operating system sounds to your speakers and then set the game to output to your headphones.
  17. https://www.blink.com.kw/en/Corsair-M65-PRO-RGB-FPS-Black-Gaming-Mouse http://www.quadrastores.com/index.php/home/products/10/ The Corsair M65 is a pretty good one. It looks to be available from a couple of the sites you listed. Every button is programmable. You could reprogram the left click to run a macro if you want.
  18. They may work together depending on the protocol but I would not rely on it and would recommend sticking with a single vendor and most likely a single product line.
  19. Yeah, the 57 is an instrument mic. the 58 is effectively identical but has a foam wind filter to help with plosives.
  20. It's entry level for the budget but it does exceptionally well for that price.
  21. Volume wise, as long as you have the gain it will work. What you want to consider is the amount of noise around you. If you're going to be recording in a noisy room then you'll either have to do a lot of cleanup or you'll be left with a lot of noise on your recordings.
  22. I use the fan controller built into my motherboard. It's an Asus ROG motherboard.
  23. I basically do that with my setup. I turn off all the case fans and just leave the pair of radiator fans running at about 350RPM (that's the lowest they'll reliably run at). Quiet enough to barely be heard and keeps it cool even under light load.
  24. I mean at idle, most CPUs crank down the core speed, and if it's still doing basically nothing it pretty much won't be generating heat. If it can hang out below a certain temp with no fans running, then there's no harm. As soon as the heat goes above that the fans kick back on until it's below the idle temp again.
