  1. Definitely lacked the tension of previous years. I mean someone could've done all of this in one day by just getting a bunch of prebuilts. And @Slick was hella competitive when it came to the games.
  2. At least in the UK, you'd have to be mad to prefer Intel over AMD if you want value for money. A quick jump over to my preferred PC parts supplier and their front page: The 9700K is pretty much £35 more expensive for 8 threads less and no cooler. 3. Here in the UK, Virgin Media have yet to implement IPv6. They were trialing DSLite to run IPv4 and IPv6 in parallel but have apparently abandoned it in favour of full Dual Stack. But no official word from them on when IPv6 would be implemented. Guess they've got a shitload of IPv4 addresses to use up!
  4. Crap. I watched an old video and accidentally bought Vessel.
  5. If you think an i3 will suit your processing needs, just start from there and build around it. Generally speaking, the power draw for the mobo is only whatever you have plugged into it. If you use the slots you use the power, having fewer slots won't change it. Start with your i3, and have a search for what motherboard you prefer (based on your PCIe preferences.
  6. For $30-40 you can get a decent cooler from BeQuiet like @Sorenson said, but only with silver heatsinks. If you want a black heatsink model I can personally vouch for the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Black Edition being a good buy at that price point.
  7. This is great and all but...can we have @Slick back please?
  8. You had me at kebab I'd give friends and family a good chunk each to make sure they didn't ever have to worry about money again. Then probably buy myself a few luxuries like a new car, house, tech etc. and then I'd try to invest a chunk to provide a constant revenue for some homeless charities.
  9. Have you tried screengrabbing something from one of their videos? They're in 4k on YouTube (albeit, YT "4K").
  10. Speaking of almost...I ALMOST forgot to wear underwear today but I didn't *pulls boxers up slightly*...lttstore.com
  11. I'm pretty happy with my actual setup, but may look into a new case (although I'm a silent PC kind of person, so need to find one that I like the look of and has sound dampening, and Ideally an inverted mobo so I can see inside). Also, my lighting. Thankfully LED lighting is ridiculously abundant and cheap. Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe an RGB keyboard too
  12. See if Powerline adapters are an option.
