  1. The UK Plug is superior to all others. And I shall ruddy well fight whomever challenges that!

    Wtf wan show.

I remember in the old days when they'd talk about the WAN show computer and stuff being "not ready" after being moved during the week etc. I find it really strange that with all the hardware they have there isn't just a NUC plugged into a monitor for the "on-screen" things they want to show. All it needs access to is the WAN Show document and to log into YT for Superchats etc. Do they really HAVE to use Linus' daily driver (or a computer linked to all his accounts) for this every week?
  3. Exactly. Why not store the cold storage wallets in a series of safety deposit boxes at multiple banks which require multiple key holders and then lay out a clear and legal instruction, should one keyholder die?

    Phillips TV led strip

Contact the seller. It says it's been held at customs and then returned and disposed of. It's not coming.
  5. WhatsApp has built in backup functionality. Should just be a case of backing up on the Android version and then restoring on the iPhone version.

    Ford's New Electric Truck!

It only weighs half as much, once the American gets out of it.

    LTT video volume level fluctuations

Yep, the fluctuations are on mine too. Looks like it's the video and not your setup.

LMG footage stolen for super time ad.

When you think that they spend ridiculous amounts of money on silly amounts of server hardware...they upload a 10 min video a day, which as most have pointed out, is just Linus talking at the camera and then some B-roll footage of the product. I'd argue that HardwareCanucks has better B-roll and they must do it on a percentage of what LMG do. That being said, looks like a bloody fun place to work. But you could easily argue that for the increased costs they've had over the years...the content has not improved by the same margin. Today's LMG is more of a playground than a content production shop. It feels like they make the videos second to building their own giant mancave. EDIT: Which is their right to do. If you don't like it...don't watch it I guess. I see LTT as the Top Gear (and now The Grand Tour) of Tech. They used to be more amateur and fun, now it's big budget and fun, but unlike TG or TGT, they suffer as they have to produce a video a day. Whereas they produce maybe 8-10 high gloss, high value pieces per year, the rest is phoned in to make the quota. My two cents.

Please go back to 16:9 (Poll added)

Personally it annoys the shit out of me when watching on my TV, every other YouTuber i'm subscribed to is 16:9 and then when it comes to an LTT video its all weird on the aspect ratio.

Me thinks this was more a video that Alex wanted to do
  12. @WolfLoverPro Card thieves often buy something small to test if a card works then buy lots of other stuff afterwards. So a few low cost purchases of multiples of the same thing will raise flags with your card issuer. Especially gift cards, as they're essentially converting your cash into something they can't trace.
