  1. I'm still a fan of their current designs (which scale well to the 77xx's), has a bit of detail to it with the shroud being silver metal with a hard black stripe going down the middle, and metalic mirrored rings around the fans. This design looks like an early version however, though it really grows on you fast, seriously I hated this when I first saw it... Okay, onto my main initial feeling, the shroud - at first sight that new cooler looks a bit more closed at the bottom, so I wonder what the idea is with that. As a 7950 user I noticed a decent amount of air being blown down onto the motherboard, and also against the case side, as well as out of the back, as well as being easy to take apart. I wonder how this new one will exhaust. At the end of editing and writing this, I'm hopeful for their new design and card identity to be featured on the smaller ones. 2. Something like this, perhaps? Oh, and everything is now gold, but none of the golds match. (This is OC, original from Corsair)
  3. From a long time mess up of rpg and fps, I've come to something like ... WASD move. QE lean or strafe, \ (or Z) switch weapons, Z prone (or, switch weapons), X or RMB aim, C crouch, G grenade, F use, T teamchat, Y/Enter allchat, 1-9 weapons, H holster, V and E (& MMB) for use/interacts, LShift sprint, Ctrl walk (more an RPG thing) Tab/tilda (`) team/server/map info.
  4. well...first card - Nvidia 7500 GT because it was cheap though that was maybe 6 or 7 years ago, and now second card AMD R7950 because again, it was cheap (infact 209 GBP for me 7 months ago) and it's a great price-performance AND never settle bundle is pretty good value add
  5. I have a 140 in the bottom of my R4, helps the GPU by a few degrees
  6. Well you could post it, but it might look bad on LinusMediaGroup (for the motives of posting such a video), on the other hand, a lot of people will see it, and highlight an 'issue', if people feel like there is one, that is. Depends, on what you think ('you' as in anyone reading this post), but there is gonna be some shi... crap... in the comments about sexualisation and negative attitudes to women, some of which may or may not be their. There are some very gender balanced and classy booths there, but then there are some more... appealing alternatives. I am a strong proponent of freedom of expresion, negative or postive. Either way, it really reflects on the companies, and I'd like to see how some of the ones I buy from represent themselfs. TL;DR: You should post it, it's the companies image, not LinusTechTips.
  7. a Nvidia GT630 4GB. Idk what I was thinking as it's just a repopped 530 and low end cards are poor value for money, but it is cool to have more memory on a GPU than a System... in a way... [ as my 7500 GT melted... ]
  8. -FORGOT THE STANDOFFS [shock-horror] for the Motherboard. I realized they where important after remembering the back of a motherboard is not flat and VERY conductive. - Too much thermal interface material [paste] - It didn't make an issue, but it was silver based, and after applying a much thinner layer [2/3 of a grain of rice for a AM3 heat spreader] temperatures where down 5-10*C. - Not pushing RAM [DIMMs] in fully, though I didn't start the computer. -Letting a PGA [Athlon II 64] type CPU fall out of my hands. straightening that many pins wasn't fun, but I managed it after a few days. At least Sandy-E chips aren't PGA ;)
  9. XFX R7950 (AMD) [FX-795A-TDJC] in main [new] computer, and MSI GT 630 (Nvidia) [N630GT-MD4GD3] in an old Athlon II machine. Used to have a inno3d (Nvidia) 7600 GT but a few months ago the core decided to be 155*C...
