  1. It includes all LGA 1366 related stuff, not only X58 chipset as far as I know. There is some people with dual socket systems that doesn't have the X58 chipset.
  2. 922 cb seems a bit low for X5670 @ 4.2GHz. I got 951 cb when I had my X5670 clocked at 4.2GHz and at 4.32GHz it got 986cb.
  3. Maybe you could get some cheap 6-core Xeon (X5660, X5670, X5675 etc.) and overclock it to 4.2GHz or higher. GTX 1060 6GB would be pretty good GPU with it. Here is Cinebench R15 cpu score on my X5670 @ 4.44GHz
  4. X5690 is better. But I'd recommend X5680 or X5675 because those are cheaper, has lower TDP and can overclock higher than most X5650's.
  5. It's not that different from a normal monitor. It's basically like a normal monitor but with a TV tuner.
  6. It has nothing to do with pixel ratio etc. Why would the size change the pixel ratio when the monitor/TV still has the same aspect ratio?
  7. You wouldn't get any benefits.
  8. Yes, if you have the latest bios version on the B85-G43. But how did you forgot 3 years old (i3-4170 was released in 2015) hardware in your store room for years?
  9. 8gb is the absolute minimum for gaming in 2018. I personally wouldn't get less than 16gb of ram.
  10. Actually I've tested 1080p30 on an Athlon 64 X2 4000+ too. I didn't try 60fps though. But in everything else it's really close to the Core2 Duo so I'm pretty sure it could play 720p60 videos.
  11. Both can play 1080p30 YouTube videos without any problems. 1080p 60fps videos most likely won't play, but 720p60 should work. I've tested that on a Core2 Duo E6300 @ 2.33GHz.
  12. I bought my main monitor, 23" 1080p 60Hz TN panel, in late 2011 and I still don't see any reason to upgrade. My other (3) monitors on my main PC are pretty old too, from around 2011-2014. I'm still waiting for a monitor that could beat my old CRT monitors in colors, contrast, response time etc. I do have one monitor with a VA (75Hz) panel, it does look pretty nice if light are on in my room but in dark room blacks doesn't look good at all.

    OLED burn-in

Degauss have nothing to do with burn in. And burn in can't be fixed on a CRT monitor or TV. My CRT TV does't have any burn in even though I've sometimes left the PS3 menu open for hours.
  14. Here is some boards with a red and black colors. Maximus III Formula or Maximus III Extreme EVGA P55 Classified 200 Foxconn Inferno Katana GTI Or something almost black like EVGA P55 SLI or MSI P55-GD65 which has dark blue as secondary color. Or maybe even Asus P7P55D-E Premium or Deluxe if you don't mind a lot of blue.
  15. Here is the dirties PC that I own. It haven't been cleaned in at least 5 years.
  16. I haven't cleaned my secondary PC in like 2 years, it's not the dirtiest PC that I own or have seen but it's definitely my dirtiest PC that's still in use.
  17. If you decide to upgrade to the 8700k, you'll need a new motherboard, ram and you probably should upgrade the power supply too if it's also from 2009.
  18. Have you tried to clear CMOS? It looks like your CPU was running at 1.9GHz or something:
  19. It's not worth even trying to fix it. Sell it for parts and buy a new mobo.
  20. Are you sure you did ran the Firestrike Extreme and not the standard one, if you're comparing it to asand1's score?
  21. Have you already tried to clear CMOS? And have you tried to change Windows power management to high performance? Weird that it was still able to use all cores on Cinebench but not games. It most likely won't solve the issue. Other than being able to run at a higher clock speed.
