  1. Hey guys, I have been researching a bit but it seems like those with MSI motherboards have been having trouble with some fan control software. I have been using MSI Command Center, but sometimes it will shut my TT Riing fans off completely. If I am able to get them back on without a restart the LED's will not come back on. So I was wondering what anyone would suggest as far as fan and pump control software, I prefer not to go through bios a million times perfecting it. I have an MSI Z170i Gaming Pro AC ITX motherboard a 6700k & 1080ti both cooled with a custom loop. I have 3 TT Riing fans connected to the Syst fan header My pump and 2 Vardar fans are connected to the CPU fan header. While on the subject, I am looking to replace my EK on my radiator with something much more quiet. any suggestions besides Corsair ML series. Thanks
  2. Manually adjusting in bios, all other fans hooked up respond to it. I’ve tries both with just the pump header attached and just the moleX attached and both. I get nothing
  3. As you normally would starting a functioning pc. I lost my connector from ek so I’m fully hooked up
  4. The tubing in the rear is a tad pinched when pulled down, st this point it’s not a final location, everything will be moved. At this point I am solely confused by the lack of pump operation As far as how it is currently powered, pin connector plugged into the sysfan header, moleX is plugged into moleX cable running directly to power supply. Thank you for you current attention to my problem by the way
  5. Yes, that’s how it is setup at the moment. I’ve been going through hell to get this pump to power on, it was easiest for me to leave in the system and work with how it currently is. My methods aren’t always the most conventional
  6. Keep in mind while filling the pump is right side up, standing vertical
  7. Let me know if you need a different angle, I still for the life of me don’t know why we still use moleX in 2019
  8. Guys I replaced my old pump with this xres 140 revo d5. For some reason I cannot get this pump to fire up no matter what. I’ve tried both the sysfan pinout and the cpu one. I’ve tried a direct link into the thermaltake fan hub. And ive tried all the molex adapters that I have lying around. What would be a common cause of this not working? I know most RMAs are user error so I’m really trying to trouble shoot this as much as possible but for now I am really at a loss on what to do.
  9. Hey everyone, I have been doing my research and have learned quiet a bit recently regarding dedicated game servers. I am looking to set my own up as I have come into an old rack mount that I am dying to build something in. I am looking to host games like Arma 3 (100 Players), DayZ (if it ever releases) and similar titles. I am also looking to host a team speak server and maybe a few other things also. I have been looking into refurbished and used servers and they seem to be pretty affordable. My Questions: What kind of CPU should I be looking at, I have heard that I will need something with a speed of over or around 3.5 ghz , preferably a Xeon. Can I get awyay with an older LGA 1156 socket type, or should i be only concerned with lga 2011 AND newer? I also am very intruigued and am leaning towards a Dual CPU set up. Any suggestions? Would a (2) X5680's or (2) X5690's suffice? Will a dual CPU server really even make much of a difference for me? What should my biggest focuses be on? What about security, is that something that should be of big concern for me? I have an old Intel i5 2400 laying around, but I do not think that will be enough from what I have read. My main rig is an ITX build i7 7700k, 1080ti all on a custom loop with 32 GB of ddr4 3200hz RAM. My internet speed is about 230 down and 20 -30 up, Thank you
