The last of my grandparents, my mother's father, just passed away at age 90...

It's quite sad on the one hand but on the other I think he had a good and especially long life without major illnesses. He spent his evening of life in a very good retirement home close to his daughter with other nice and caring people, who eventually became his friends, around him. The last 3 years he's also got to enjoy 3 little great-grandchildren to spark a little joy again. Now however, he passed away peacefully in the night as his own decision because he declined food beginning of this week. 

RIP, he'll definitely be remembered.
