I would love to see a manufacturer come out with a itx sized board with the thunderbolt chip that let you put together your own enclosure (i.e. buy your own case and power supply) . It would be great to have a setup like this but the core is just too expensive.

Startup Looks to Fix the Internet With New Router Technology
Nic replied to SansVarnic's topic in Tech News
Source? Also this is probably only needed once -
So after the serious business of announcing their new Zenphone 3 line up the people over at ASUS have decided to try their hands at some comedy with a fictitious home robot dubbed the "Zenbot". A slick website and well made marketing video also accompanied the the presentation given by ASUS chairmain Jonney Shih. The Zenbot was priced at $599 USD Zenbo site Engadget The Verge JK In all seriousness though, I think this might actually be a real product. Its an interesting concept but it has so many fatal design flaws I find it difficult to comprehend it ever being a successes. These include: To short, it would be a pain always having to look down to its display. From the video it appears very slow and would likely get in the way a lot. Being so short would always be getting tripped over. Speech recognition is generally still awful. Hackers, NSA, Skynet, etc. Seems very dependent on third party support. Stairs.

I get it bundled with my mobile plan so for me they would have to have it available on its own for a reasonable price. Until then vessel is a better option for ad free content for me. I know this kinda ignores the other benefits of YouTube red and I would be willing to pay more than the vessel sub price, just not that much. Also, imo spotify > play music

It would be nice if they would unbundle Google play music, I already pay for Spotify and don't want to switch.
-
inb4 they polished it and threw it through the air hence making it smother and faster than the competition.

I think LTT makes up a majority of Vessel views...
Nic replied to Henry's topic in General Discussion
To be fair, they did hire that one new guy recently they were reluctant to put on camera and let slip his name on one of the live streams (can't remember it for the life of me). -

All LTT's videos are still exclusive on vessel paid tier for a week before being released on youtube and vessel free tier, this is not changing. -

Personal preference I guess. I know that the ads I get from them are considerably better than the garbage that is ad-sense. If they do release their original series to the ad supported tier it would be more enticing. -

They got rid of ads for the paid tier you can still watch content with ads on vessel without paying them anything. you don't get them a week early and I don't know if the new Nerd Sports series will be only for the paid tier or if it will be released on both at the same time or with a delay of a week like normal LTT videos. -
