  1. Not a conspiracy or deboosting, Google's UI is atrocious. The sort by top never worked for me and I'm using their browser...
  2. That's because Emily went previously by Anthony. You would have seen plenty of Anthony videos.
  3. Agreed, of course if the allegations were investigated to be true, then there can be no supporting LTT. But what if it wasn't true, or was wholly out of context (lets say a skit for channel superfun). Since we don't know or have conclusive evidence, should we not assume neither is right and neither is wrong either, hence taking a nuanced approach and not rush to conclusions. Regardless of the verdict, the damage is done to LTT. If proven true, the nail in the coffin. But if proven to be a lie, LTT is now terminal and cannot recover.
  4. To be honest, every company I've ever worked at, had incompetent HR. This is nothing new and nothing specifically targeted at her. If she had grievances, is there not some employment tribunal or ombudsman that she could contact in Canada? At the moment, its just all her side of the story and people have armed pitchforks. Should we not wait and hear from LTT or once the independent investigation has completed with what further actions need to be taken? Personally, I think she has so far not put up the most convincing case. Her complaint about work demand is synonymous with the line of work she is in. Posting a few social media posts as the Social Media Manager is not anything outside the scope expected of her work. She has also admitted to exaggerating about having an NDA in place when she left, which has been proven to be not true. More context is required and as the cat's out the bag now, she should be stating names, there's no logical reason for her not to now that everything is out in the open. If she doesn't then there will be suspicions as to why, with the most likely conclusion that there's not enough validity to her claims which could lead to named individuals rightfully seeking defamation.
  5. Do you have a need for 24GB Ram or better? For that price, you're unlikely to find 4K screens and with a desktop CPU as well. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834234297 That's around your budget and with a 1070 and GSync. Yes...it has a SSD even though I know you stated you didn't have a need for it.
  6. Totally fine even for a minor overclock. Just set up a friend's PC last weekend and made him get the hyper evo (for his 6700K), his idle temps are at the same levels as my 5820K with water cooling. Yes, my PC has creeped up idle temps over past 6 months mainly due to a lack of cleaning (idle has actually gone up like 15 degrees...lol, was idling before at 20-25C, now around 35-40.
  7. I've not had issues with any of my Samsungs, Sandisks or Crucials on my PC or any of the family's laptops. Some I've dropped and not had any damage (laptops dropping not SSDs directly). Just make sure, not refurb/used, and buy from a vendor you know have a good returns policy. Amazon although pricier at times works a treat as they never check anything returned.
  8. For those games, just get the 1060. Beam.NG especially is poorly optimized so gets quite heavy and hot.
  9. Bezel is a little wide for my tastes. I'd prefer something thinner: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014X4U076 https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1146475-REG/asus_pb258q_2560_x_1440.html
  10. 1060 easy, if you go by benchmarks alone. But if you can get the 470 for $110 its worth consideration. What games are you intending on playing at what resolution and detail?

  12. Yeah tbf, your only drawback potentially is that GTX550 and it would only be a drawback if you were gaming AAA titles. Stick in a SSD, a 1060 and you'll be maxing out easy on 1080p and feel as fast as the Razer Blade.
  13. Better than my old PC 5 years ago so...if you had a time machine you could go back and roast me.
  14. Go for a dual monitor setup so you get best of both :). I personally prefer the 144Hz as you see a significant change from 60 on fps games.
  15. Do you have a budget for what you are looking for?
