  1. Hi, Sorry for the late reply. I have just tested that video you linked on my TV and it looks perfect. I am unsure what this issue could be then. I dont know if it could be a faulty tv but I dont imagine so if some videos work and some dont. Unless the TV is somehow trying to force HDR if thats even possible? Idk if it is but just brainstorming ideas that might make the colours look terrible. Thanks for the reply
  2. Im not sure when the market will go back to normal however I just sold my 1080ti (bought for £700 in 2017) for £610. I didnt even intend on selling it at that price but people drove the bids to insane amounts. If you don't want to go without gaming I would say dont risk it as I dont think anyone knows right now when the market will become normal again. Only reason I sold my 1080ti is because i managed to get a 3070
  3. Hi, I bought a SONY BRAVIA KD55XH9296BU 55" Smart 4K TV back in October 2020 but ive ran into an issue a few times with YouTube HDR videos looking totally off colour wise. Does anyone know if this is could be an issue with the TV or if it is an issue with YouTube? I'll link below and example showing the colours seen in a video by Marques Brownlee. The colours seen in the recording is almost exactly how it looks in real life. This issue is also seen in other YouTubers videos such as iJustine who shoot their videos in 4k HDR. The TV looks amazing when watching content in Dolby Vision on
  4. Update: used DDU and now im getting 150-200fps on star wars battlefront 2 lol. Thanks a lot for the help
  5. I have an EVGA supernova G2 I think its called. cant remember its exact name
  6. I was thinking of overclocking my cpu however i only have a 650w psu so not sure if that will affect overclocking
  7. Im reinstalling drivers rn but my 1080ti performed very well it was just starting to show its age a bit on warzone but tbh i think thats just cause that game is an optimized mess
  8. Issue is i play a lot of competitive games so high refresh rate really is important to me
  9. Ok thanks for the help. I will probably take a few days to decide on what I am going to do. I was planning on building a new pc when i finish uni in a year or twos time which is why am not really liking the idea of buying more parts right now. thanks again for all the help everyone
  10. See i play on 1080p 144hz right now and i planned to stay at 1080p or maybe go up to 1440p. I prefer the smoothness to the higher resolution. Issue is I dont think i can really upgrade my cpu without needing a new motherboard as well so at that point im not sure if its worth the hassle since the 1080ti is still really good. ill try using ddu and reinstall the drivers right now
  11. ah okay i thought that which is why i assumed it was a bottlenecking issue
  12. I plugged the pc into my 4k tv and im getting around the same fps im getting between 60 and 75fps on cod warzone with the 3070
  13. Ok i will try that thanks a lot. If all checks out there do you think it could be a defective card?
  14. Hi, I managed to get my hands on a Gigabyte Aorus Master 3070 as I seen one come in stock. I stupidly didn't think about if my CPU would bottleneck this card and now that I've installed it I'm getting less FPS than I got with my 1080ti. I assume the issue is bottlenecking however can anyone confirm this or suggest any other reasons why? I have an i7-6700k. I am currently debating sending the card back as I am getting drops to below 60fps which is making the games i play feel choppy in comparison to my 1080ti. Thanks in advance
  15. I was hoping to try that but theres no cause to the noise it seems it just seems to be random. That's whats making me think it might be something else because if its a fan it should happen once it passes a certain rpm if its not working correctly I would think
