I told windows to update on accident...

It reset my colour profile so I had to go download the ICC profile AGAIN

It reset all my sound settings and I'm not sure what I set, but now discord is loud as fuck and games are quiet. (Even after trying to restore my settings best I could)

    I think I'm 7 updates behind maybe more

    yup, I just don't power off my pc

    you can alt + f4 and scroll through options to restart / power off w/out  updating

    Maybe the audio driver got reset as well?

    You never know with Windows.

    @Cyberspirit I checked, it didn't. I normally dont mind the update, but this makes me upset. I liked my sound, I WANT IT BACK >;(

    I had a perfect setting of, my game sound took priority for certain sounds and discord took priority over other gamesounds that didnt matter, and my music played where if nothing happened i could hear it, but if teammates called out or if things happened in the game, I would hear that WAYYYY over the music. It was perfect ?

    I don't remember the last time I let windows update.

    @Ashiella If you aren't going to do backups yourself, you may wanna convert your setup to a RAID 10 soon. Either that, or get automated software to do it for you (one full backup per weekend, 2 incremental backups per weekday). That should save you from trouble in the future once you set it...
