  1. Check out Power line Ethernet , it does not involve running a cable .
  2. K70 RGB . It's RGB so you know it is good for gaming
  3. uRraid is quite expensive , why not try Free Nas ?
  4. My NAS is running 8TB raid 0 on an Intel atom CPU and 4GB ram just fine. If you want to run a Plex server on it then get a better CPU.
  5. You could try making disk images (iso files) of the DVDs on the other computer and mount them using Daemon-tools on your file server.

  15. If the file is partly overwritten and you manage to recover it most programs won't be able to open the file including Winrar
  16. The data is not stored in order on your drive so even if the file the overwrote it was small all the files in the zip would have been unreadable
  17. Uninstall it You don't really need an Antivirus anymore as windows firewall + defender is good enough Just don't download from sketchy sites and make frequent backups of your files
  18. I prefer Windows 7 because of stability Windows 10 is to heavily integrated with OneDrive and Other Microsoft services that could compromise privacy Also some drivers work better on Win 7
  19. Is your computer really old ? Because that could be causing it to be slow You should get a SSD or even 2 SSDs and put them in Raid 0 Get a normal Internal Hard Drive to put all your games and movies on , everything else should go on to SSDs Also back up that dying HDD asap

  22. USB is less likely to cause issues since third party adapters may not work with the router
  23. When you do a factory reset you delete the login details stored in the modem or router for the internet that allows your ISP to know it is you who is connecting to the internet from that line. These settings can be found in your router under connection or internet settings , if you can't find it contact your ISP.
