  1. I think it has better codecs if I remember correctly... Maybe a higher bitrate. idk.. I've never used a C100.
  2. Well this camera isn't in the league of the C100 or C200 considering how old this thing is. The AF100 came out in 2010, 2 years before the C100 Mk 1. Despite the antiquated sensor, it's remarkably sharp. Autofocus is still better than the G7
  3. I have gear acquisition syndrome... so I'm constantly broke. But it's fun to look at the gear sitting on the shelf going unused. What is your most over the top camera rig? Here's my submission: It's a Pansonic AF-100. Max resolution is 1080i60, but it does shoot native 1080p30 and 1080p24 so it's perfect for filmmaking. Does have 2 xlr inputs. I've adapted a Canon B4 lens onto it Totally overkill for this camera, but it makes it look like a beast. Gonna fashion a shoulder rig for it at some point
  4. That's not why you should want more videos with her... just sayin
  5. Why giant cameras? Manual buttons are a videographer's dream. Digging through menus to change essential functions is unacceptable especially when you're on a shoot and time is of the essence. As for the lens, I'm adapting a broadcast lens onto that camera (the native lens mount is M4/3). That lens has crazy zoom, totally free iris, and is par-focal (keeps its focus while zooming). Totally unnecessary for most people, but I have gear acquisition syndrome and I love it XD
  6. Yeah if you can get a G85 for the right price - go for it! Considering that I still use one of these massive dinosaurs... Go for it and enjoy it! Look for bundle deals on eBay or something. Most of the stuff will be junk, but sometimes you can get a bundle with an extra battery, maybe a shotgun mic, etc.
  7. If you can find it on sale, the Panasonic G7 is an excellent value!
  8. Hey it's not as bad as during the mining craze... I bought a new 1070Ti for $500 USD. I feel like such a fool for not waiting a few more months...

  10. I don't know how it works... all I know that we did it
  11. They can't run Java Edition Minecraft. We may also get into Fortnite at some point. Update: We deployed the system today... and the kids love it!
  12. Yes. Since we are a non profit, we pay no tax. The systems that we buy are usually about $800, so we save there.
  13. Thunderbolr cards are next to impossible to buy, not to mention that no motherboard on earth has enough thunderbolt headers.
  14. Why are we bickering about this? It works and that's all that matters. Keep in mind that I have NO experience with this type of stuff and I was just figuring it out myself.
  15. In console mode, the VMs can be booted up and used in their own window. They are VMs.
