You don't need 1000w, but anyway the RMx is a better product than the Focus.

If it does it on gpu load only you might have traced it to psu. CPU:s and memory controllers degrade over time if oc'd too far so always test stock.

if ti deos nto happen again, keep the gx, otherwise replace it
