Fuck you hp
Why add just 1 screw thats different?
-
yea hp laptops suck to work on. most of them anyway.
-
@Levent that's not the point. HP pretends to be Apple for a second and puts torx screws when it's not necessary or expected.
-
@imreloadin Depending on where you live shipping isn't fast. Sometimes you need a tool and can't wait over a week for one to ship to your house.
-
@Windows7ge then don't start projects until you have the correct tools? I mean most things have teardown guides/videos online you can look up before you start so you can find out what all you need.
-
I'm not just limiting this to computers. Working on engines, small motors, carpentry, home improvement projects (like a Home Depot or Lowe's)
Sometimes you don't know what you need because you're doing a repair. Once you discover what's broken you know what you need. The situation will never always be "just know what you need ahead of time" there will be situations where you have to start something and find you need a part that you don't have and need it sooner than shipping will offer.

@Windows7ge *laughs in netherlands* most common stuff if you order it beofre 23:00 it gets delivered the next day
that's one great thing about a small country.
-
@firelighter487 Most if not all things I order aren't common. This means they come strait from China which is 30-60 day shipping or I'm still waiting a week because the manufacturers I buy from don't have warehouses in or anywhere near my state.
I ordered a server PSU last week and it has to travel from California all the way to the East coast.
